The amazing Gisele Garraway and team have created a platform to help working families with non-cash requests such as gas cards, laptops, or work uniforms. These contributions can help more families find their way to financial sustainability. Yes, we ALSO need more systemic, policy-based solutions. Words can’t even express how much I love this program. If you haven’t heard of the BLAC Internship Program do your googles. They are creating such an important space for black talent to thrive and be discovered. I wouldn’t have been able this start my career with such momentum without this internship program. If you’re hiring or just looking to support the next generation of advertising talent, look into BLAC. If you’re able donate some time to mentor, join the support network, and pay your success forward. You never know how important it is to support the future until you actually tap in.

This document is a deep dive into Bicycle Collective's impact, programming, people, and finances for the past year. Producing the report is always a challenging yet gratifying process, because it allows our staff time to reflect back on the impact we have made in the communities we serve, the programming we have delivered, the bikes we have received as donations, and the smiles we have delivered to those most in need of a bicycle to help them get to work, school, or just get outside for a little exercise. Although the document looks back at the preceding year, it also helps us fine tune our focus on the future. What can we say about 2023 that hasn’t already been said? It was a big year of realizing long term dreams and goals, especially when we rolled open the doors in late November of our New Hub on 325 West and 900 South in Salt Lake City. As an organization, we still managed to maintain our measurable impacts across the state. No boring stuff in this report. Not only does Feed the Children help children around the world, but they are headquartered right here in OKC making an impact locally, nationally, and globally. I loved getting to attend the grand opening of the FEED's Partner Market! This new program is based out of our distribution center in Oklahoma City where local partner organizations can shop for the products they need - whether that be food, cleaning items, hygiene, and even books. Did you know that 15% of people live below the poverty line right here in Oklahoma City?
