Congrats on this well articulated feature, RHAD Architects!
RHAD has been featured in Sharp Magazine!
We recently worked through a rebrand with CO+ to articulate our purpose and the impact we make as an Architecture firm. This rebranding has allowed us to better communicate our commitment to designing experiences that extend 'Beyond the Build'. I want to thank Chelsea Clarke at Sharp, who helped articulate that in this Article.

It's easy to get frustrated or anxious when it seems like sufficient progress isn't being made toward your major architecture modernization decisions.
It can be overwhelming when there are many options on the table and it seems like your group is going round in circles.
But before jumping into potentially counter-productive actions, think about the design squiggle. Design and decision making is complex and not always a predictable, linear sequence of steps from problem to solution.
It might feel messy and chaotic, but you might be on the right path and making good progress.
Admittedly sometimes we do get stuck in analysis paralysis and decisions do get put off, and we can waste a lot of time going round in circles.
So it's important look closely and see if there are signs of progress - is agreement starting to converge on certain options? Have some options been ruled out? Does the conversation go deeper each time? etc.
You might be closer to convergence than you think.

Thank you Lisa Woodall, for your clear findings. We certainly agree that #EDGY should be a foundation for enterprise governance.
"What I guess EDGY is starting to tease out maybe is the need for some form of evolved governance to one of a DESIGN board – where designers, change makers and architects all sit around the table together and share how all FACETS and ELEMENTS need to hang together and change together to drive better enterprise outcomes.
Maybe the Design Board can be the enterprise layer of governance and the FACET progress their disciplines and their reviews in their own communities but are all coming together via the agile or project-managed approach to get things done.
Any programme needs all aspects of the EDGY model to drive better outcomes. Changemakers, designers and architects design the changes that matter and provide the roadmap for the execution of the change with the broader operational and technical teams.
I’m so excited to see the simplicity of the EDGY model shining a light on Identity, Architecture, Experiences, Organisation, Product and Brand and hope we can all lean in and embrace it – it’s more than asset deployment and management – transformation takes so much more than that."

“Architecture review boards are heavily weighted to the asset aspect of the design. Many of the discussions have nodded to PURPOSE, CAPABIlITY PRODUCT and TASK and will be somewhat aware of the CONTENT, PROCESS and CHANNEL but aspects of JOURNEY, ORGANISATION, STORY and BRAND are often underrepresented”

What do people need? What do they want? And what matters most?
Listing and prioritizing features is a start. Understanding the jobs to be done is the next step. Clustering features and functions provides clarity. Consider combining, separating, and dropping features for simplicity.
Simplicity is challenging. Finding the right product architecture opens a universe of opportunity.
