Conversations: Let’s Talk about Death What does talking about death reveal to us about life and the way we choose to live it? What can we share and learn from each other about different cultural traditions that honour loved ones who have passed? What is the experience like for people who work with matters of death every day? Join us in this informal gathering in a conversation café format to talk about death with like-minded learners. A list of questions similar to the ones asked above will be provided to spark curiosity and stimulate thought-provoking conversations. Participants will meet first in small breakout groups, and then share insights with the larger group. IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend that you visit the ROM exhibition, Death: Life’s Greatest Mystery, before you attend this program. The Museum opens at 10 AM, and your Conversations ticket includes same-day admission to the exhibition. For more information, please visit the ROM website at: https://lnkd.in/gJw9evEp

Professional Speaker & JOY COACH with Burnout-Busting Keynotes and Trainings | TEDx Speaker | Bestselling Author of “Messy Joy” | ICF-Certified Life Coach | Professional Puddle Jumper 😉
Does your church conference, retreat, or special event need a speaker? 😍 I speak about joyful living despite the circumstances at association conferences and companies, and I hope to do this for a long time. But, did you know the message comes full circle at my Messy Joy Church Conferences? And that I’d love to bring one to your church? 💜 This topic may surprise you on LinkedIn, and if we have different views, let’s love each other anyway. While I don’t hope to ruffle any feathers, I am posting this here because churches are businesses, too. Here’s a glimpse of what my church conferences look like: https://lnkd.in/gvgrbbKW This sold-out conference took place at Brooklyn Presbyterian Church. The tech may have taken a nosedive just before we started, but the joy of the Lord was our strength and we asked Him to hijack the day. We rolled out a good old TV and had a ball giving Him the glory and unpacking joy through faith, with James 1: 2-4 as our guiding scripture. The length of these conferences can be customized for your community’s needs, but on this day, we had 5 hours together to learn, laugh, pray, eat, and connect. Everyone walked out with a copy of my bestselling book, Messy Joy… and they left believing they deserve joy in their own lives, eager to give it away. If you’d like to learn about bringing a Messy Joy Church Conference to your town, let’s talk. You can help by sharing this post! #messyjoy #churchevents #professionalspeaker

If you’ve ever read my book, "Museums as Agents of Change," or have worked with me before as a colleague or client, you’ll know how much I value community-centered practices as a key part of being effective in our organizations. I'm excited to share that two weeks from today, on April 10, I'll be kicking off my first ever Spring Intensive focusing on Community-Centered Engagement! The Spring Intensive for Community-Centered Engagement is a 3-part online workshop where we will dive deeper into key aspects of community involvement, community partnerships, and audience engagement strategies for organizations. Some of the things we'll be exploring include: - working on defining what "community" means to your work and your organization - learning about an asset-based approach to community engagement - examining different models of community involvement and co-creation - engaging in group working sessions geared towards applying strategies - developing a set of actions for your organization One of my goals for this Spring Intensive is to create an intimate online community, so I've capped the registration at around 20. But I still have a few spaces available and, honestly, I would really love to have this inaugural workshop filled! I've added a link below to the workshop registration page. And please don't hesitate to message me or email at murawski27@gmail.com if you have any questions! https://lnkd.in/gJ-tQg5b

PR, journalism and photography for the events and marketing industries. Menopause in Meetings Ambassador. Anti-Ageism Campaigner
If you are exhibiting - I can totally recommend getting Steve Lloyd in to lead your exhibition strategy. We have worked with him many times now and he is easy to work with, but will lead and make things happen. He makes sure that your objectives are clear and defined and works really hard to deliver on them. And he is a really nice bloke too! #exhibitions #exhibitionstrategy
It is the final furlong for the summer holiday! As adults we fall in to 2 camps (mainly) 1. Parents. We are counting down the days until the kids go back to school. (This time - we have a university starter as well! That's new for us! )👨🎓 2. Adults without kids / kids no longer at school. We are counting down the days until the roads get really busy again in the mornings. ☹️ As exhibitors - we also fall into two camps. 1 - We've got this. You have prepared, have plans in place and are ready for the day and beyond. 😉😁 2 - Oh it's ages away! I will think about it nearer the time. It's only an exhibition 😳😳* The simple fact is, if you have booked to exhibit at an exhibition in this last quarter and you haven't given a lot of thought about it - you are likely to be bitterly disappointed. And it will be your fault! Get planning now and get some preparation in place. If you are not sure where to start, book a 15 minute call with me. No obligation, completely free and extremely useful for you to get you better prepared. https://lnkd.in/e7CexAUt *(These are extremes, it is likely you will be somewhere in between)
