Having worked in both K-12 and higher education, I find it interesting (but not surprising) when I get the funny looks when I use the term "andragogy" -- especially from folks in higher and adult education. When asked what andragogy is, my 5-second "elevator pitch" response is typically "pedagogy for adult learners." There are significant differences between pedagogy vs. andragogy with each having unique teaching and learning implications. This article made me think deeper about this topic this morning since I am in the higher education arena. Just wanted to share. #highered
