Transformative Men's Conference Recap Yesterday's conference was nothing short of extraordinary—a blend of spiritual awakening and personal growth. A group of 19 men embarked on a journey to become better versions of themselves. The day began with a lively get-to-know-you activity that set the tone for openness and laughter. We delved deep into our identities, exploring concepts like vulnerability and authenticity. The "Mask We Wear" activity allowed us to confront and embrace our true selves, shedding illusions and finding congruence. Chef Drea's culinary magic provided a feast that exceeded expectations, featuring honey pecan wings, shrimp and grits, and more! G.F. Soldier, aka Hilton Young, moved us with his powerful spoken word poetry, breaking barriers and fostering genuine connection. Under the meticulous guidance of Karlos Lyons and Dr. Mike, we gained insights and healing, understanding the importance of support and asking for help. The impact was profound: "This is what I have been needing," "These are the fellas I have been lacking," and "It feels good to get this off my chest." We ended the day with CEU certificates and a newfound sense of community and purpose. To those who couldn't join us, you truly missed out on an incredible experience. Your voice matters to imagine the future of touring exhibitions. As part of Culture Connect's Cultural Dialogue Surveys series exploring the appetite for cross-cultural dialogues, we are thrilled to be collaborating again with Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo) and invite the global touring exhibition community to answer our "Cultural Dialogue Survey 2025: The Future of Touring Exhibitions". The first two editions explored the impact of major contemporary crises and revealed key trends, questioning the power of the object in exhibitions, unveiling tested sustainability practices, and highlighting the resilience and optimism of the sector. Can you believe it? Our social project, the exhibition “No age. Just number!”, has been nominated for the finals of the world’s biggest event and experimental marketing competition, Eventex! 🤗 🙏 Nominated and shortlisted by the jury in FOUR categories, it is in the running for the title of THE BEST IN THE WORLD, even in such prestigious and important categories as BEST CULTURAL EVENT and BEST SOCIAL EVENT that has made a difference. 💙 To give you an idea of the scale of this competition, how many countries are entering in the hope of taking their country’s name further, and how many mega-projects have been submitted, here are the numbers. This year, 1207 projects were submitted from 62 countries! The competition is cosmic. 🌏 We would like to thank the jury from the bottom of our hearts for this mega-appreciation and those involved, without whom this project would not be possible. And finally, thanks to the author of the idea and the driving force behind the project – our very own Inese Lukaševska - who proves every year, with every project, what excellence is and what it means not to betray values. The results will be available on May 7th. Fingers crossed.

Now that the exhibition is over, a lot of people are asking what my next steps are, here is a quick breakdown: - Secure a Part 1 role - post thoughts, reflections and lessons here on Linkedin (similar to what I post on my instagram, ARCHIVE 7) - Plan WMASN’s next steps (look forward to the next exhibition!) - optimise my workflow, as being involved in different projects at the same time can be challenging at times. In this last quarter, for me it is really just about setting myself up for the year ahead in the best way possible. I wonder if you have similar goals?

Announcing the 2025 Conscious Cities Festival! We're excited to once again bring together designers, researchers, technologists, decision makers and local communities to explore the intricate relationship between the built environment and human flourishing. The global festival, to be held 21-25 March 2025 will unveil and explore the concept of “Regrounding” – the deliberate practice of reconnecting with time and place. How can we consciously design places that counter society’s rush into the digital and abstract? How can science inform the emergence of healthy environments for people, communities, and ecologies? Events focusing on three related themes will drive collective imagination, strengthen connections, and inspire collaborations. Read more about the themes in the festival page.
