Laughter is a universal language. It crosses barriers, lightens the mood, and can even make those awkward “drop your pants” moments a bit less... awkward. But it’s more than just feel-good fluff. Research shows that laughter can reduce stress, lower pain perception, and even improve patient compliance. Imagine your patient actually enjoying their visit to the doctor! Revolutionary, right? How do we support individuals to do death better? #1 Realize that the medical system isn’t set up to address the gaps for the dying and their families. #2 Identify for you and yours: what are the gaps we are going to have, and what might possibly fill them? #3 Look into resources ahead of time. The bottom line: We aren’t very prepared and there are gaps we really should know about. Take your head out of the sand of denial and have a look around, starting with listening to Dr. Uslander’s naming of “the five gaps people don’t see coming” in this important episode. Join Yvonne Farrell this Sunday for her acupuncture live webinar. Description This 6 Ceu/pda live webinar course will explore the importance of the Luo-collateral system in preserving the internal terrain of the body. Once an experience has entered the interior, it must be processed, embodied or released. The circulation of Ying Qi and blood is essential to this process. The Luo-collateral system is a Ying Qi system that profoundly affects the circulation of Qi & blood. If we cannot learn from an experience or reject it as toxic or not useful, then we must create a holding vessel until we can rally ourselves to face the problem. This is an act of self-preservation that recognizes that sometimes experiences have such an overwhelming emotional imprint that we are unable to let them go. If the emotions are intense enough or if they linger long enough, they will negatively impact organ function and thus survival. The Luo-collaterals create new vessels as far away from the organs as possible in order to limit the effect the pathogen may have on the zangfu. The cost of this act of self-preservation is twofold. One it results in stagnation of qi and blood. Two, it requires qi, blood and often body fluids to maintain this distancing. We are therefore using resources that might otherwise be used for more optimal health.
Dive into the heart of healing emotions and anxiety with our Luo-collaterals webinar 🍃. Master diagnosis, treatment, and the emotional connection to circulation. Your journey to deeper understanding starts here. Join Yvonne Farrell this Sunday, April 7th for her live webinar. REGISTER TODAY: https://lnkd.in/gW3sz_Ad
