Not all wounds are visible. June is PTSD awareness month, an opportunity to share information, resources, and treatment options for people experiencing PTSD. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder is a serious condition that is often misunderstood. Veterans are at a higher risk of developing PTSD. These brave men and women volunteered to put on a uniform to defend our freedoms and deserve our respect and support. By spreading awareness, we can help encourage those experiencing this condition to get the help they need and deserve.
