A great work culture yields better results One of the biggest mergers in Danish corporate history happened earlier this year, with Novozymes and Chr Hansen joining forces in Novonesis. But how do you make two great work cultures to work together as one? How can 1 + 1 equal 3? 'Work culture as a strategic asset' is becoming an increasingly big area we are offering to our clients at ReD Associates. Applying the humanities and social sciences to understand the worlds of people, and building great strategies on a deeper understanding of what is happening now and in the future in the world out there, has always been at the core of what ReD does, and does well. But there is an increasing demand from our clients in using the same approach to look deeper into the bellies of big organisations, in order to create better work cultures, and build more inclusive colleagues and leaders. A strong work culture gives organisations a competitive advantage, and the toolkit of the social scientist is optimized for leaders to work with internal culture as a strategic asset.

💥Wow! Our jobinar dedicated to Sales Journey on 21t March went by so quickly 💨! It was beyond amazing to reach 50 attendees on the event animated by our 3 amazing sales professionals Naomi Wills, Janet Graystone and Dr. Kizzie Manning-Kröger, MBA who generously shared their experiences and insights. Today, on my birthday, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the journey of life and work. This past year has been filled with both joy and sorrow, teaching me valuable lessons that resonate deeply with my role in HR. I'm incredibly grateful for my wonderful wife, who has been my steadfast support through everything over the last 25 years. Reaching 10 years at Prinova has been a rewarding milestone, and I’ve grown alongside a truly fantastic team doing a role I love. The loss of our eldest son last year was heart-wrenching, and it has underscored the importance of cherishing family and friends and making the most of the time we have together. Key Reflections: Continuous Learning: Just as life teaches us new lessons each year, HR is about fostering a culture of ongoing development. Investing in employee growth is key to our collective success and I am truly passionate about this at Prinova. Resilience and Adaptability: Personal challenges require resilience and adaptability, qualities that are equally crucial in HR. We must navigate change with grace and flexibility - nothing stays the same. Building Strong Relationships: Celebrating birthdays with loved ones reminds me of the power of strong relationships. In HR, nurturing a sense of community enhances engagement and well-being, I have worked hard on this the last year - travelling to build relationships and form connection that will make Prinova Nagase stronger. Purpose and Fulfillment: Finding purpose in life is essential, and in HR, aligning employees’ roles with their passions leads to a more motivated and fulfilled workforce. Reflecting on my journey, I’m thankful for the support of my loved ones and the lessons learned. Here’s to another year of growth, both personally and professionally, and to making HR a force for positive change. Understanding the link between innovation and community. I had the opportunity to participate in the yearly conference of Commina and it was very inspiring and insightful. I got to meet community managers from different industries and hear about their experiences. I signed up for two panels: the first one dealt with the importance of the added value of the community to the participants and the organization, and how to keep the community relevant and attractive. The second dealt with some questions like who should be the community manager? Is it someone from within or a dedicated person from outside? The importance of being the gatekeeper of the community - if you’re in, you bring added value. I gained lots of new ideas and thoughts about our innovation ambassador community - it was a truly amazing opportunity. #zimstorytellerz #zim #znovate #innovationambassadors #storytellerz
