Pierre Robert is thrilled to have jumped +69 spots on Sustainable Brand Index Norway! ⭐ The study surveys brand perceptions from a range of different industries, and we congratulate FINN.no – mulighetenes marked for coming in at number 1. Pierre Robert placed 87th out of 282 brands, but rank as number 5 among the top 10 climbers on the list. At Pierre Robert, we have worked steadily on ethical sourcing and reducing our environmental footprint since 2005. In recent years we’ve focused on more sustainable materials, helping consumers make better choices, and streamlining our assortment to prevent over-production. It’s hard to talk sustainability in an industry with little consumer trust, often thought of as “dirty” and rampant with greenwashing, so we’re proud to see that our messaging is breaking through and received as trustworthy. CAES is known for creating elegant, minimalist basics—and the Dutch brand has greatly improved its sustainability standing with help from the Good On You tool Good Measures. The results? Reducing impact on people, the planet, and animals that saw the brand’s overall rating rise from “It’s a Start” to “Good”. Improvement measures include partly tracing its supply chain, implementing a code of conduct covering some ILO Four Fundamental Freedoms principles, and using lower-impact materials like Desserto cactus leather, recycled cotton, and Tencel Lyocell 💚 “As a small brand that values transparency, it can be challenging to communicate our efforts in a clear and effective way,” the brand shared. “Good On You uses a rating system that allows you to clearly track your progress and see what areas might need improvement. Their acknowledgement is highly regarded in the industry and opens many doors. Besides this, their team is extremely knowledgeable, committed and a breeze to work with.” “We’re thrilled CAES is now one of Good On You’s top-rated brands.” …and we’re thrilled to know that more brands are lowering their impact while prioritising more sustainable measures. Here’s to CAES and to all brands who are doing the work 🥂 If you’re hoping to improve your brand, company, or workplace’s sustainability standing, we can help: learn about partnerships now → https://lnkd.in/ekDGi8Pv
