I expect many of feel like clinical trials can get stuck in a cycle of miscommunication and inefficiency? I expect we might also agree that the solution might be trust: easier said than done maybe. I was grateful to Abby Proch for the conversation on how sites are working with sponsors. Three things in particular for me: Mutual Trust as a Foundation: Trust is the starting point. It's about both sides being upfront about their capabilities and what changes. With better levels of trust, backed up with performance, can we shift to a portfolio mindset? Cutting the Red Tape: Let's ditch the repetitive questions and activities and focus on a networked approach. It’s about efficiency, saving time, and ensuring everyone’s efforts are well-spent where they more matter. Commitment Beyond the Numbers: True diversity in trials requires more than just hitting quotas. It demands genuine, long-term engagement with communities to foster trust and inclusion. I'd be interested in your thoughts on any of this!
Read now! Our CEO, Mark Scullion, shared key insights on building trust in clinical research in an exclusive interview with Clinical Leader. Subject Matter Expert, Trainer & Speaker | Social Impact Consultant | Podcast Host of A Trauma-Informed Future
Where do you go after you learn about trauma-informed care? Most trauma-informed trainings are heavy on understanding trauma yet lack actionable ways to develop and embody trauma-informed care into everyday practice. It’s not enough to just understand what trauma is. We need to take that understanding and transform it into practical and applicable skills to inform how we build relationships, communicate, make decisions and lead. These are just a few elements of the integrative trauma-informed approach I teach and mentor folks on. The key thing for integration is that we utilize practice, continuing education, mentorship and peer support to advance to become more skilled and confident. The more we center trauma-informed care in our lives and leadership the easier and more natural it becomes the way we show up . The Trauma-Informed Leadership Studio is a learning community and practice space for you to cultivate and strengthen your trauma-informed leadership. It’s about taking what you know and integrating it into everyday practice while feeling ultra-supported along the way. 🚀Doors are open and you will be able to join at any time. Founder Membership discounts are available now until April 19th. #trauma #traumainformed #traumainformedcare #traumainformedleadership #integration #socialimpact #courageousleadership
