Ari Brenner on why predictive insights from In-House's platform are key to improving nurse schedules. "One of the key things that prevents nursing teams from staffing themselves effectively and sustainably is predicting demand for their services. Predicting demand for services is a problem that every industry faces, but I would argue it's particularly acute in healthcare. To put it bluntly, it's a lot worse if I get demand prediction wrong in healthcare - if I predict wrong how many patients I will have, or how sick they are in a hospital setting, lives are at stake. A lot of what makes nursing a very challenging thing to staff and schedule, and makes it demanding on teams, is the stakes of getting it wrong are very serious".

PODCAST: Think Uber, but for in-home healthcare... I really enjoyed having Adam Stansell on The People and Planet Podcast. The logistics and processes in in-home care can be super inefficient, with stressed out care workers spending more time in the care travelling, than treating the patient. It was interesting to learn how Adam's background in big tech and management consulting helped him and the team at Axle Health to a find a solution Check out the full episode below #podcast #inhomecare #techforgood #healthtech #hiring

Thanks Lee Watton for the chance to talk about moving from sick care to health care in this country. And Health being about your everyday life all year long, not just the ten minutes you see the physician a few times a year. That’s where Salvo Health is really a revolutionary approach… continuous care not episodic, interdisciplinary whole health not siloed, personalized and tech-forward not the usual waiting rooms and inconvenience. #gastroenterology #obesity #digitalhealth #hepatology

Helping professionals sleep better, stress less and take control | 1-2-1s, talks, workshops | Psychologist & Psychotherapist
One of the biggest issues we have in health is that we are deluged with often conflicting information, so people get confused and feel powerless and then do.....nothing. Or very little. Or give up when results take 'too long'. Now I love a good podcast, but they are not helping us with this. Lots of uncritical conversations where data and views are presented by ‘experts’ with lots of context missing, and research findings even just being interpreted incorrectly. Much easier and more attention grabbing to report an ‘improvement’ or ‘loss’ rather than report results being of no statistical significance. And more. Why not have experts actually debate and discuss their opinions on the shows, especially when their ‘scientifically informed’ views are seemingly diametrically opposed? What do you think?
