Additional Terms: LBO: an acquisition of the company carried out using borrowed funds. MBO: an acquisition of the company by its corporate team/ management from the owners of the company. BVPS: book value of equity computed as NAV i.e. Total Assets- Total Liabilities. It fluctuates with the changes in the value of assets and liabilities. FV of equity: par value of the equity that is fixed by the company during its listing that remains constant. Operating Lease: a contract of using an asset without the transfer of ownership of the asset. Financing Lease: a contract of using an asset that is accounted for as an owned asset. #finance #learning #equity
