We are pleased to announce that think-cell will be participating in the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2024, one of the largest and most prestigious developer conferences globally, for the third year in a row. This year, the event will take place on July 17-19 in Berlin, Germany.
The WeAreDevelopers World Congress is known for bringing together professionals from the software and product business, offering a major platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and showcasing the latest innovations in software development. This year's event is expected to attract thousands of developers, engineers, and tech enthusiasts from around the world.
Our team, including developers and HR representatives, will be present at our booth to discuss the exciting career opportunities available at think-cell, including C++ Developer and C++ Internship positions. We will share insights into our work culture, the projects we are working on, and the benefits we offer, such as a flat structure, no meetings or overtime, flexible working hours, and an international team of experts.
Our presence at the event also includes a series of talks by think-cell’s experts in the conference program, all delivered on July 18:
- Jonathan Müller, Software Engineer, will present "An (In-)Complete Guide to C++ Object Lifetimes" at 10:10 on Stage 10 (120), addressing creation and destruction, temporary lifetime extension, memory management practices, and relevant C++ features and optimizations.
- Arno Schoedl, think-cell founder and CTO, will discuss "Why Iterators Got It All Wrong — and What We Should Use Instead" at 10:50 on Stage 10 (120), highlighting the fundamental flaws of the C++ iterator concept, distinguishing between elements and boundaries, and proposing a solution for clearer code and reduced errors.
- Sebastian Theophil, Senior Software Engineer, will share a talk titled "Passive ARM Assembly Skills for Debugging, Optimization (and Hacking)" at 11:30 on Stage 10 (120), providing a practical introduction to ARM assembly code, essential for debugging and optimizing applications on ARM machines, especially for those with experience in x86 assembly.
We will also host a raffle with prizes, including our signature green socks, beach balls, bike seat covers, reusable straws, and charging cables. Join us to learn more about the innovative work happening at think-cell and discover how you can be a part of our team.
We look forward to meeting you at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2024. See you in Berlin!
