Healthcare Facility Planner I Co-Founder I Director of Healthcare at WARD FOUR Consulting Pvt Ltd | Patient Safety Advocate
To truly succeed, teams must row together, with each member contributing their strengths and talents towards a shared vision, and all moving in one direction with unwavering determination. Teams are the driving force behind transformative change and extraordinary achievements, yet the path to effective teamwork is often fraught with challenges. I can vouch for that – and that journey is long. But along that journey, I have met some incredible individuals and there are lessons for me in each of those interactions – lessons in a healthy attitude, spirit, and courage. lessons I learn about myself, especially from failures – and some hard lessons about human interactions that will always remain tricky to navigate. I have also come to accept that building a cohesive team will require patience and time. Yet each setback becomes an opportunity for growth, each conflict a chance for understanding, and each triumph a testament to the power of collective effort for the individual and for the team. A shout-out to the WARD FOUR team for your resilience, for staying the course and for navigating the tricky landscape of design practice together. #teamspirit #teambuilding #teamwardfour
Indeed, the saying "the sum of parts is greater than the whole" encapsulates the essence of teamwork and collaboration. It suggests that when individuals come together as a team, their collective efforts and contributions yield results that surpass what each person could achieve on their own. Teams are forged not under the sunshine sipping Pina Colada but in the trenches of gruelling deadlines and the ever-changing landscape of project demands and client requests. We are grateful for our team at WARD FOUR. Here's to Team Spirit and Camaraderie! #TeamWardFour #TeamSpirit

Half a decade- Wow & Phew! My husband and I chose 27 September as the date of birth for our younger son because our elder one is 27 November, little did we know the third one will also be born on the same day. I remember walking into labor, checking my email for the last time as I thought to myself, the next couple of days will be hectic. The MCA alert popped up and we got our Certificate of Incorporation. Rest as they say is history. The last 5 years have changed my core as a being, embracing motherhood for the second time and starting a business within two months was tough. Here are my top 5 learnings- 1. You will not always have clarity of thought or things planned till the "T," but that shouldn’t stop you from starting. But you should know when to stop or Pivot. 2. Develop financial discipline early on, we expanded rapidly and had to face some impact this year. 3. One can never really achieve work-life balance, instead, keep your priorities clear. 4. Nothing worthwhile is built without missing something worthwhile, you will end up missing some birthday parties and some evening drinks with colleagues. Try to stay away from FOMO. 5. Work on self-awareness, being your biggest cheerleader is important however; being self-critical is equally important. Remember if you want to see the picture when you're inside the frame, being mindful matters. We are building the plane while flying it, we have some appetitive for innovation and failure but we have tons of passion and endurance. Sometimes we get tired of our own resilience, but we know Rome was not built in a day. My heartfelt gratitude to all our Customers, Candidates, and Suppliers for trusting us and being patient with us. Most importantly allowing a young company to make it big. This wouldn't have happened without my super awesome Humans at Work, everyone who was associated with us, or still is, has made a tremendous difference in our lives for which I will be eternally grateful. Cheers to the next 5! Our best is yet to come.

CEO at SWF Industrial | Expert in Accountability & Culture | Construction Professional with 15+ Years Experience | Host of 'Just Some BS' Podcast | YouTube Content Creator with 1M+ Views
Come with me on a walk down memory lane...For those of you who don’t know, SWF stands for Stewart Welding & Fabricating, and Stewart refers to my father-in-law Al Stewart. Al started the company in 1984 out of a one-car garage which you can see in the picture.👇 Al bought his first building for the company in 1986 where it grew to 80 employees by 2010. At that time he built his second location which has aided in our growth to our current team of about 150. Al gave everything for his company, I mean literally and figuratively. He was unfortunately diagnosed with Alzheimer’s & Dementia at a young age which ultimately caused his death on Christmas night of 2020. I tell you all this because of the unlikely story of how I came to work with Al and with SWF Industrial Inc.. In the summer of 2018, we called a family meeting due to Al’s health diminishing and his inability to handle some of the day-to-day tasks that he was starting to realize were beyond him. At this family meeting, I was asked if I would be interested in stepping in to help out. At this moment in my life, I was working for a Power plant construction company called Day & Zimmermann and I was very happy in my 10-year employment, 2 of which were in management (I say management because I knew very little about leading) and I had plans to stay there forever. I loved that company and the work I was doing. When making this decision, I knew that it could change the entire course of my life. I turned to my dad for some guidance. I asked him what I should do, he said and “Are you going to look back 5 years from now and ask yourself, What if?”. The answer to that question was of course “Yes”, so I went for it. I started my leadership journey on June 25th, 2018, I had no idea what I was doing, I was just going to try and be the best version of myself each day. The team I walked into at SWF Industrial is the reason this company has always been so strong, Al knew good people, and how to find and keep them based on their tenure at the company. I wouldn’t be the leader I am today without all my team. Their ability to be open to some of my stupid or wild ideas, or guide me through their knowledge and expertise can’t be repaid. My leadership journey will always be ongoing and has had plenty of hiccups along the way but I have learned so much since late June of 2018. I hope Al is happy with the progress that SWF has made and will make in the future. I tell you this for those of you who aren’t sure about submitting for that next promotion or are afraid of failing or letting someone in your life down. I get it. I was afraid of letting the entire family down, especially the legacy of Al, but that is the funny thing about POTENTIAL is sometimes to fulfill POTENTIAL you need a push from someone you trust and you may need to crank that comfort needle way the Hell out there. I’m not sure we will ever be completely “Ready” to fulfill our potential. #ceolife #backstory #vulnerability #leadership

And just like that, our first week at bridgers is complete! It's been an amazing first week, with plenty of networking, meetings, calls and lots of opportunities to get our teeth stuck in. So, what did we learn in our first week? 1 - We are our best asset! Ella and Nic are not just the face of bridgers, but the driving force. Our passion, skills and team work are what set us apart and we have realised how much we want to share that with you all. 2 - Structure will save you... As two already organised people, we're lucky. However, we now realise how crucial organising our work will be and we are now putting structures in place to keep ourselves accountable, scheduling our work and content, and so much more! There really is no limit to what you can plan, organise, and structure to give yourself the best starting position. 3 - We made the right choice! Starting something new, or going through a big change, can be scary. But if we've learned one thing this week - it's that we were right to take a chance on bridgers and thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey so far. What lessons did you learn in your early stages of business or in your role?

Husband & Father 1st | Account Executive, Transportation Specialist at Gallagher Insurance | Transportation Safety & Risk Management | Networking Enthusiast
Friends in the Industry - As we prepare to watch the superbowl later today, I’ve been watching the pregame shows. One of my favourite parts of the pregame shows, is the analysis completed on various superstars - what makes them a superstar, and what makes their strengths so powerful on their team. From understanding their stats, to the breakdown of how they helped defeat opposing teams - I think it’s one of the best parts of the game. Similar to football, I really enjoy seeing analysis of superstars in the workplace. The team members that first come to mind for standing out, for going above & beyond. If we consider our places of work, I’m confident that you can think of team members that are driving results, impacting your company culture for the better, and can tell they’re a difference maker for your organization. Why do I enjoy this component of the workplace so much? Because when someone makes a decision to go above and beyond what they’re paid to do, because it improves the experience for those around them, is one of the best decisions we as professionals can make. The deliberate decision to create a positive impact, is what I like to refer as “Creating a Pivotal Impact”. In my workplace, I am extremely fortunate to work alongside a handful of professionals going above and beyond to help make our industry a safer, and ultimately better place to work. So, for those of us enjoying the big game later today, I encourage you to consider who you are on your team, and use the games momentum to help elevate the impact you’re having. #AMTA #IndustryAdvocates #ProfessionalsInTransportation #SuperBowl2024 #Safety #Goals #SuccessInTransportation #SafetyFocusedMotivation Dave Elniski, MA, BSc, CTSP, CRSP, ATCL Rob D. .. and that's 2023 wrapped 🎁 I loved creating this content which showcases Wiser's company culture - but why is that important? 💜 Company culture is like a business's personality. It's not just about what we do, but how we do it - with teamwork, creativity, and fun. This culture isn't just for us; it's a magnet for new business too. How? 🧐 🔍 Transparency - Just like unwrapping gifts, we're open and transparent, building trust with clients and partners. 📈 Engagement - Our team's energy and enthusiasm is contagious - it's a vibe that clients and ambassadors love to be part of. 💡 Innovation - Our creative culture breeds innovation, showing potential clients that we think outside the (gift) box. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Have you done Secret Santa this year? Today, on Women's Day ♀️, Danish ICMIF member LB Forsikring is highlighting the great news that there is virtually an equal distribution of men and women around the table in terms of the mutual's Group Management team with three out of seven being women; CIO Heidi Torm, CFO Fatiha Benali and CSRO Anne Bisbjerg Lee. But despite the gender balance among managers at LB Forsikring, there is still a need for focus on diversity: "Actually, I'm sorry that we need to have that focus at all. Diversity should be a matter of course, so we can focus only on professional competences. But it IS needed, figures and experience unfortunately show. Otherwise, we reproduce a bias that has always been there and is deeply ingrained in the culture of many companies. For many years, I myself have been the only woman in the IT management groups I have been a part of and sometimes the only woman at courses and conferences with IT themes. And if you look at the financial sector, which I have always worked in, there are not enough women in the top management layers despite many good leadership talents to choose from," says Heidi Torm. "At LB Forsikring, for example, we are still lagging behind in the IT area. Even though the management team is 50/50 women and men, only one in four of the employees in technology and platforms are women." As Heidi Torm say, "So I know I have a responsibility. Responsibility as a leader to ensure the good framework for bringing diversity into the area. Responsibility as a female manager to make demands on my workplace regarding career path and job conditions. Responsibility to be visible and help others by passing on experiences and being part of networks." #IWD2024 #InvestInWomen
