I would like to introduce to my network the official First Search team! 👋 First Search has been a family owned company since 1984. We have been finding purple squirrels for companies such as Motorola Solutions, Sprint, Saint-Gobain,Verizon, General Dynamics and many more. Allen Katz is our Chief Employment Officer. Al's the OG of the company, opening First Search in 1984. He's been a successful Recruiter since the 70's focusing on industries such as Telecommunications, Engineering, Architecture, IT, Construction and Sales. Al met his wife early in his career while at General Employment and has been happily married for the last 45 years. Sarah Katz is our Chief Candidate Whisperer. Sarah started her career in recruiting with First Search four years ago. She started off as a Talent Sourcer and now is a Recruiter for many industries such as IT, Manufacturing, Construction, Architecture and Sales. Sarah has figured out how to interact with candidates and get them to respond, with her InMail open rate on LinkedIn being in the top 10%. She dives into what our clients are looking for and finds them top talent. Scott Krepps is The Jedi for Undiscovered Talent. Scott became a recruiter 5 years ago and joined the First Search team in May of 2023. Some industries he focuses on are Engineering, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Construction and Oil and Gas. Scott digs and digs until he finds the right candidate. He's out of the box thinking has made him a crucial asset to the First Search team. The knowledge he gained while working at Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson has stuck with him all this time, helping him find the right candidate for the tough to fill openings.

A brand new role within the business with a slight twist, it was an urgent fill which would hugely benefit the team. Brief taken on a Wednesday. Shortlist of 5 submitted Friday morning 3 first stage interviews Monday 2 second stage interview Tuesday Offer out and contract signed on Thursday While some people may think that it takes time to source the right person, yes I agree. However, sometimes and more often than not, you have to adapt. The message is that I know the business, I know the team, I know their values which allows me to work efficiently.
