Can it be done? Is cost the only thing that gives a business value? Why don’t businesses look at this more deeply? I’ll offer some comments specifically from a cardboard packaging perspective, but can it be done? Yes absolutely. And remember that costs are many and varied and quantifiable in different ways. Firstly, I will explain why businesses don’t do this as much as they should in my opinion. First reason is time; people don’t have the time to put into going through the possible changes. The next thing would be solid capital. What I mean by that is that businesses want to see solid pounds and pence in savings, rather than an invisible cost savings that could be behind the scenes. So, how do I combat these? The last one I have no control over, because we are all entitled to make choices, but the first two I can change. Time to the prospective client isn’t an issue, as it won’t take their time up.
