A highlighter kind of treatment is added to emphasize words with its edges angled like the bolt — it makes sense but it might be a little forced. I recently designed podcast thumbnails for Jasmine Star Here's a quick breakdown: 1. Thumbnail • Before→ While thumbnail looks well and text clearly visible on the black background, but it could be reflect proper video's story with adding visuals. • After→ Both face with expressions creating curiosity and background visuals are proving the text, Jasmine Star Show logo at the top center is building channel branding. 2. Thumbnail • Before→ The text words could be more curious, that could be arouse more interest in audience's mind. • After→ Text words are more curious and brighter now and arousing curiosity in audience's mind, and background visual the guest with Rolls Royce car is proving the text. 3. Thumbnail • Before→ A lot of text with unbalancing position that creating confusion to read, it can be audience frustrates. • After→ Less and only needed text and words are with more curiosity, and girl in the background with sad to happy expressions that reflecting solution of the problem. Most of podcast pitches I get suck but thankfully, the one that I got for this interview today didn't. It clearly worked, mainly due to the fact that they listen to the show, had a relevant topic idea with a point of view, plus they’re really knowledgeable about the work they do. Anyway, today's episode features Nina Farrell from &Agency and Emma Hutton from Hutton and is all about brand and storytelling but from a consultant's perspective. Nina and Emma are two consultants that I've known for quite a while who work predominately with mid-sized architecture firms.
