Met Gala: Where were the influencers in the fashion industry's biggest night? 😕 Last night the Met Gala hosted a range of attendees from A-list celebrities to top designers, stylist and more - but we couldn't help but wonder...where are all the influencer attendees? Of course we saw some familiar faces and big names from the influencer world, such as Emma Chamberlain, HaleyyBaylee and Wisdom Kaye. But there was a significant drop in the amount of influencer attendees compared to the previous years. Those who ARE being invited are those who have broken out of the influencer space and entered the "a list celebrity" space thanks to their various business ventures. All of this got us thinking... 💭 Does that mean that digital stars are only valued once they've broken out of the 'influencer realm' to the 'business world realm'? 💭 What about all those influencers who have huge social media following or thriving businesses but have not been invited? 💭 How does this align with the fact that when brands want to gain awareness they usually go to digital influencers rather than celebrities?
