This sustainable and profitable change not only saved the farmers but also created an entirely new lavender market and tourism industry, breathing new life into the town’s economy. It is now a vibrant tourist destination and contributes to Spain becoming the second-largest lavender oil supplier in the world. My trip to #norway was nothing short of beautiful. We visited the Opus XVI Heritage Hotel in Norway, a former bank from the 18th century transformed into a sustainable haven. From the functional antique lift to room keys made of wood, every detail exudes a commitment to #sustainability. Even their approach to dining, with only à la carte options to minimize #foodwastage, showcases a dedication to environmental responsibility. It's inspiring to see how Norway has aligned its entire tourism sector with sustainability principles. Interestingly what also caught my attentions is towards plastic bottle recycling. Ninety-seven percent of all plastic drink bottles get recycled in Norway—that’s water bottles, soda bottles, and some juice bottles. Ninety-two percent are recycled to such a high standard that they’re actually turned back into bottles and used again.   Other than sustainability initiative in the country, the snow-covered landscapes of Norway left me in awe. While I've experienced snow before, witnessing it blanket the Norwegian scenery was a truly magical first.   Even though we couldnt witness the #Northernlights but the magical snow made up for the loss.
