Maximum speed is 228 rpm. Maybe torque is more important than speed. This is why NOV offer the upgrade from 11SA ( 400 HP x 2) to 11 SAE ( 2 x 600 hp). The torque is increased from 37.5 klb-ft to 58.8 klb-ft, or 45% more. Interesting fact is that if you desire to order TDS-11 with 2 x 600 hp motor, this would be the model TDS-11HD. NOV Ofered the model TDS11-SH in some ideal rigs, which is equipped with 2 x 550 hp motor.
For a Canrig Top Drive, it depends on the model & the specific gear ratio, however 265 RPM is a max for one of the top tier units. Where are you drilling Tim? Any need for a directional drilling oscillator or stick slip mitigation? I have a kit that can provide both of these services on any AC top drive. We’re deployed on over 100 3rd party rigs in the US.

10moDepends. On the bit. And on ground Also most top drives only spin like 160 rpm in high or something. Been a while Also. There is is mud rotary hmmm?
