First Game Jam in my life!
On the 29th of March, I made it to #TalTech for my first 48-hour Game Jam ever. I wasn't stressing much about it because I had previous experience in hackathons. But this was about creating games.
We had an amazing team. Everyone was working hard to reach the idea that we'd planned in the first 3 hours. On the first day, everything was working as intended. But on the second...
It was a tough last 27 hours before submitting the game for voting. At midnight, we were making so many unconventional (in terms of development) mistakes and solutions. But, if it works - it works; that was our motto for that night. 2-3 features were dumped in the trash because we just didn't have time. We managed to add assets and visuals only in the last 3 hours.
After submitting, we voted on the other games and didn't want to speak about ours. When the time for the award ceremony arrived, we were like: "Okay, that game definitely 1st place, this one maybe 2nd, our game is not even in the top 10," we thought. And after the host gave thanks, he started with the 3rd place. And BOOM! "The 3rd place is... Un[]efined." If I say that we were surprised, it's an understatement. It was priceless to see that our first-ever publicly released game received some recognition and won 3rd place out of 29!

From 0 to 2.38M.
It has been a journey filled with tears, blood, faith, and trust.
For a long time, the #Web3 sector has focused primarily on the "Price of tokens" rather than the "Users" or the actual "Demands" and "Scenarios" that can exist independently of token price.
At Protico, we have been diligently pursuing a very different approach. While many of the so-called Web3 OGs we have engaged with have barely displayed interest or recognition, it appears to be yielding positive outcomes, just as our team and valued backers envisioned.
It took us 18 months to reach the 10K.
It took an additional 6 months to go from 10K to 1.5M, as mentioned in our 2023 Year-End Wrap-up.
And now, it only took us 1 month to go from 1.5M to 2.38M.
I would say that reaching 10M is just around the corner.
