Scotland Shines as Top Destination for International Visitors 🌍 Recent figures from the Office for National Statistics show Scotland’s continued appeal on the global stage, with international tourism outperforming the rest of the UK in 2024! From January to June alone: 🌟1.98 million visits from international tourists marked a 14% rise on 2023 and a 46% increase over pre-pandemic levels in 2019. 🌟£1.5 billion spent by international visitors—a 2% increase from 2023 and 30% growth on 2019 when adjusted for inflation. 🌟European visitors led the way, representing over half of all trips, while North American visitors grew by 54% compared to last year.
