There is so much to learn from Orthodox Businesses. So little things, so big impact! I had been to a Granite-cum-marble warehouse. It's basically a 20,000 sqft establishment with huge marbles and granites stacked. Also, the air conditioned showroom is at the opposite extreme of the entrance. The entire store houses around 20-odd sales men. Guess where the owner sits? Well, he isn't sitting in any of the airconditioned showrooms in the entire establishment. He sits right at the exit near the security guard with two salesman around him and it was not out of hospitality. He stands there to make sure none of the customers are coming out without an order slip and if they do, what makes them do so? The two salesman standing around him now come to the rescue and they give it the last shot. If you have a team, it's their job to get the job done and you need to step up only when the team falls. Tell your team what to do and let them figure out how, if you start telling them "how", you will struggle with "what". #sales #team #leadership

Party City Holdco Inc. has announced plans to shut down operations and lay off employees, following only 14 months after its exit from bankruptcy. This decision highlights the ongoing challenges in the retail sector, particularly for specialty stores that struggle to adapt to shifting consumer preferences and economic pressures. The retail environment remains tumultuous, and the closure of Party City serves as a reminder of the difficulties many retailers are facing today. Landed in Bournemouth – but the journey to get here has been global. This store is a milestone that’s taken months of preparation and countless collaborations worldwide. 6 months, 4 countries, and countless hours of planning… all to bring our best to Bournemouth. I spend a lot of time meeting with suppliers and refining our global supply chain. Every connection, every handshake, every late-night call is about ensuring we bring the highest quality and most reliable products to our customers. I’ve learned that growth requires three key elements: Strong supplier relationships ↳Trusted, long-term partners are the backbone of every store. An adaptable supply chain ↳Working with global distributors to ensure our shelves stay stocked and fresh. Community-centered planning ↳Listening to our Bournemouth customers to ensure the store is tailored to what they value most. I’m thrilled to see it all come to life. If you’re in Bournemouth, stop by and see us soon. Here’s to new partnerships! #UK #Global #GlobalGrowth #TidalVape #Bournemouth #NewStore #Opening #Community #SupplyChain #Success #Growth #Mindset #Leadership #LocalBusiness

Thinking About Expanding? Here’s What to Plan Before Opening a New Location 🚀 Expansion is exciting, but it requires serious planning. Before opening a new location, make sure your current operations are solid and running smoothly. Then, think about the following: Location Analysis: Is there a demand for your cuisine in the new area? Leadership: Do you have a strong team ready to manage the new location? Brand Consistency: From decor to service style, every location should feel like a cohesive part of your brand. Expanding is a major investment, but with the right plan, it can be a powerful growth move for your brand. #RestaurantExpansion #SmartGrowth #FranchiseTips #BusinessStrategy #FoodIndustry

In our business class here at #BYUHawaii, I've learned so many great things over the past few weeks about how successful businesses spend a lot of time on strategic planning 📝 to capture every potential customer who visits their store or website. We are also using a book called *Building a StoryBrand* by Donald Miller, which is fantastic for learning how to think like a business and effectively #market products. 📖💡 One major takeaway for me is how to build a brand that can be seen 👀, heard 👂, and understood 💬 by customers. If we look at the market, many businesses are excelling at this, such as Waimea Valley 🌺, Harbor City in Hong Kong 🌆, and Milan’s Duomo shopping mall 🏛️. Waimea Valley, for example, is deeply connected to Hawaiian culture and emphasizes the importance of preserving the environment 🌱. On the other hand, Harbor City and Milan's Duomo shopping malls may seem different in location and structure, but they’re connected in the way they share their customers with other businesses at their locations. 🌍🤝 In understanding all this, I also came across the SB7 Framework, which many top companies use to dominate the market. 📊🚀 #BrandStrategy #BusinessInsights #SB7Framework Tserennyam Sukhbaatar Tutehau Hunkin
