It would be interesting to calculate how the total reduction of energy used by incorporating an immersion cooling approach in a Data Energy Center design would correspond to a reduced size of backup power generators. A 20% or 25% smaller capacity Genset may be the difference in sizing a smaller unit size or less quantity of Gensets. Improving load efficiency is a good starting point of OPEX and CAPEX trickle down savings.

Reservkraft är ett engagerande ämne genom att det är något som verkligen stärker samhället men dessvärre också riskerar att öka miljöbelastningen. Bränsleceller är ett intressant alternativ som behöver skyndas på för att kunna tas i bruk i högre grad för energiförsörjningen.
