I am embarrassed to say that I have been guilty of this. Ugh, that hurt to say out loud. In a world where things change rapidly due to technological advances and now A.I. We must adapt and challenge ourselves to stay current. How do you do that? Here are my top two strategies: 📖 READ. (Every day). Read newsletters, industry magazines, blogs, etc. 🌐 Attend conferences and seminars. There are also low cost options at your local chamber of commerce. Every successful business owner and leader need to have a thirst for knowledge. You must be intentional about seeking new ways of doing things. I suggest that every quarter you spend a few hours reviewing your systems and processes and asking yourself and your team tough questions about if your way is still serving you. Be curious, be humble and growth minded. Have a great day!

We say thank you to strangers for small favours, could we feel the same gratitude for beautiful relationship we already have✨ Feel gratitude for whatever we have, don't feel it's responsibility of that person in relationship, it's favour be grateful✨ We have done/achieved everything that society called success, still feel emptiness whenever we are alone✴️ Being alone is our true nature accept it✴️ We could elude it with each other in relationships and keeping us busy✴️ Aloneness will keep catching us whenever we detached from external environment like society or relationships✴️ We need someone else to say to us you are wise, you are beautiful/handsome✴️ Our Creator has already does this already accept it✴️
I have written a lot about anxiety. It is so encouraging to see a mature approach to the reality that many people experience anxiety - and that it is not necessarily an impediment to performance or doing one's job. It remains something that people find difficult to talk about - and the lack of acceptance and discourse exacerbates not only the anxiety but also the negative impacts. Bravo to the ABC for their maturity and role modelling here.

This is one of the most beautiful examples I’ve seen in the wild of radical vulnerability, trust, and teamwork in the workplace. Order of operations for supporting ourselves and others: 1. Self-connect. 2. Tell the truth. 3. Ask for help. 4. Be present for one another and ready to respond. 5. Embrace the moment. 6. Don’t downplay and don’t catastrophize — express empathy without alarm. 7. Offer additional resources for deeper understanding and support. 8. Follow up! Always follow up. What an exemplary and natural exchange of energies and humanity here. I’m really impressed, and will be sharing with my clients. As someone who has had anxiety attacks my entire life — and who has worked with folks who have them — I can deeply relate to this. They can be unpredictable, no matter how awesome you are at your job and how safe you feel in your environment. If someone has vertigo, or epilepsy, or hypoglycemia, or absolutely any condition with symptoms that can come on suddenly, colleagues need to know and need to learn what to do. And this isn’t even just about people with health conditions — this applies to sudden conflicts on a team as well, new information arising, surprise reactions, mistakes, unexpected outcomes, unexpected visitors, absolutely anything unplanned that may take place in any given workday. When is the last time you can remember a sudden event occurring on your team, and how did you handle it? What would you like to do differently next time? Thank you Ashlea McKay for the repost.

What triggers panic attacks? 🦋 Family history of panic attacks or panic disorder 🦋 Major life stress, such as the death or serious illness of a loved one 🦋 A traumatic event 🦋 Major changes in your life (such as a divorce or the addition of a baby!) 🦋 Smoking or excessive caffeine intake What can you do to help? 🌞 Stay calm 🌞 Ensure your collegue is hydrated with water 🌞 Use the 3-3-3- rule (encourage your co-worker to describe three objects in the room, 3 sounds and move 3 body parts) Anxiety is REAL.
