Interesting take on the energy transition.

“A climate safe future is a necessary condition for peace, but we won’t achieve a climate safe future without peace” I came across this thought provoking TED talk by Olivia Lazard covering the often forgotten about close coupling between decarbonisation and geopolitics. It reminded me that as we push for and progress to a clean energy future, it is important to pay attention to the unintended consequences. There are a lot of lessons we can learn from the unintended consequences of fossil fuel adoption both environmentally and geopolitically. 🌳⛏️🕊️🏦💡 https://lnkd.in/efGVTKeh
