Just recently, I had some interesting conversations with Slovenian tennis pros, and this is what they told me👇🏼 The players who are getting the best results don't dwell on short-term wins or losses as much as we would think. They understand that winning is not always guaranteed, even when you practice, do and play your best. Instead, they prioritize long-term growth and trust the process of continuous improvement. They believe that getting a little better every day will set them apart from the rest eventually. Do you agree with the philosophy of the players? ------- Wanna learn more about Sportbot? Tennis is a SEND AND RECEIVE sport. It's critical to train the receive element of the game just as much as the send element. Learning to read your opponent and master perceptual skills can give you a massive advantage over the rest of the competition who overlook this 🙌 #tenniscoach #tennisplayer #tenniscoaching #tennispro

If you're wondering why I've been quiet for a while (you probably have no clue why I even show up in your feed, even less what my usual activity level is at - but since you're here let me have these 20 seconds 😁), the short answer is Great Things Happening with Tennis Journey!! If you're supporting someone in tennis and using an iPhone or iPad, you might want to check it out. Promise its worth it! I know WhatsApp is ok, Facebook works, you find drills on YouTube and following coaches on Instagram. Text messaging is alright to setup hitting sessions and Calendar usually does the job to keep your schedule progressing. Not to mention Email to receive updates, get confirmations, spammed with offers and discounts on merch and clubs, etc... But if you like to write something once and share it seamlessly with your team, track the same events with your partner / child / coach / student / physio, Tennis Journey can help. Also if you commonly need context for your thoughts. Or if you need support developing off the court skills. And if.... ok... you got the idea. Checkout this short intro to view a few short examples of what is possible and how https://lnkd.in/eYMBrrek . On the other hand, if software engineering is the reason we're connected, and I haven't lost you so far in the message, I can confirm it is possible to use CoreData + CloudKit + AWS (Lambda & Gateway) to create a sharing environment for users, respecting user privacy, securing their data & without any backend costs to start with. Simple AWS setup can be used to communicate with APNs, enabling users to send timely Push Notifications to their connections, completely safe and secure. I'd love to get the time and make a blog post about it, but as I'm having to improve my Canva skills these next few days, I might fail (I've been wanting to write for the last 4 years, there's just so many good writers already out there for the iOS community), so feel free to throw questions or SO links my way and I'll do my best to share what I know if I believe I can help. Lastly, have you seen Rally Sync Technology's latest post? https://lnkd.in/ea_-6rT5

TEN QUICK TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR TENNIS GAME If you're struggling with tennis basics, check out these quick tips to enhance your game. Remember, there's no perfect way to play a tennis stroke, but these fundamentals can help refine your skills. 1. Early Preparation Prepare yourself as soon as possible. Turn your hips and shoulders before the ball bounces on your side. 2. Exaggerate Your Follow Through Follow through completely after your hit. Hit the ball, follow through, and move your feet. 3. Hit and Recover Instead of focusing on your shot after hitting it, focus on recovering. Hit, finish, and get back into position...
