I explain more in the video below, but quite simply, you will know if you are wasting your time, if a client is unwilling to give you theirs. Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with you all. Almost 18 months ago, I was laid off from my job. As a researcher and machine learning engineer in tech for more than 15 years, I was ready for a break. I took some time to explore option trading, watched hundreds of videos and tried many strategies. Finally, I settled down on selling puts and made over $200K in 2023. For my 2024 new year resolution, I started a Youtube channel on option trading called MathPhdTrading. I have made 8 videos and I would highly recommend the following four: Kick off Video: https://lnkd.in/gVrHk2QR Does The Wheel Strategy Work?: https://lnkd.in/gmVDfKw8 Earnings Trade Experiment (part 1): https://lnkd.in/gEjWTHKW Complete Guide to Sell Puts (part 1): https://lnkd.in/gB5W_ggT I hope you can tell my math/data science skills from those videos! If you are interested, I also offer option trading consultation. Regarding my job, I started a contract job/part-time job with D2S last May that fits perfectly with my option trading. Thank you for reading and happy spring!

🎯 Day 2/30 Today I have solved the next three questions of 6 Companies 30 Days Challenge of Arsh Goyal from Goldman Sachs . I was really anticipated to solve the problems . 📍Problem 1 : Kth Smallest Element Query ➡️The goal of this method is to find the k-th smallest number from a set of numbers, considering a specific trim for each number. The trim is defined by selecting a subset of digits from the right end of each number. 📍Problem 2 : Combination Sum ➡️The Combination Sum problem involves finding all unique combinations of numbers in a given array that sum up to a specific target value. Each number in the array can be used any number of times to achieve the target sum. 📍Problem 3 : Flip Matrix ➡️The "Flip Matrix" problem typically involves operations to flip or invert elements in a given matrix, often with the goal of achieving a specific configuration or satisfying certain conditions. #30daysofcodechallenge #6Companies30daysChallenge #DSApractice #challengeaccepted

I would love to share that I just completed J.P. Morgan Software Engineering on Forage. It was a great opportunity to get insight into what interns at J.P.Morgan may work in relation to 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Here are the 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 of Simulation: * Set up a local dev environment by downloading the necessary files, tools and dependencies. * Fixed broken files in the repository to make web application output correctly. * Used JPMorgan Chase’s open-source library called Perspective to generate a live graph that displays a data feed in a clear and visually appealing way for traders to monitor. #jpmorganchase #perspective #opensource #developer #webapplication #trade #forage

I ghostwrite for Security Founders and Leaders | Posts about Information Security, Privacy | Hacker by day, Writer by night
One thing that will pay dividends till the end of your career: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. In the Security Industry, there are a lot of assumptions and "conventional wisdoms." There are also people challenging conventional wisdom with new ideas. One thing to keep in mind is: → Something new 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. However, one thing to avoid if you want to stay relevant in any industry: → "We do it this way because 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲." It's better to spend your time understanding why it's done that way and whether it really works or not. 𝗣.𝗦. What is a 'conventional wisdom' in the Security Industry that you used to follow until you sat down, dissected it, and realized it’s bullshit?

Earlier this week, I attended an overview meeting on the recruitment process for interns at JPMorganChase hosted by Fayaz Suleman. I am eager to achieve a summer internship this coming summer, and this Zoom call meeting was very useful. One thing he mentioned was a course on Forage designed specifically by JPMorganChase to gain insight into what Software Engineers do at their company. In this course I learned and upskilled many technologies and skills a software engineer needs: - Set up a local dev environment by downloading the necessary files, tools and dependencies. - Fixed broken files in the repository to make web application output correctly. - Used JPMorgan Chase’s open source library called Perspective to generate a live graph that displays a data feed in a clear and visually appealing way for traders to monitor. This course focused on TypeScript and React, and even though it was only a short introduction, it really caught my attention. I’m excited to learn more about both tools and look forward to using them more extensively in future projects. As a student who knew about coding’s role in areas like trading but hadn’t experienced it first-hand, seeing it in action was really eye-opening. It’s fascinating to see the real-world impact coding has on different industries. This was great for anyone who is interested in Software Engineering. Here is the link if anyone is interested:
