Taking in the beauty and wonder in the natural world (even visual representations) can give us a greater sense of well-being and a connection to something bigger than our individual selves. Connecting with other people and with animals can have a similar effect. Allowing ourselves to receive what is offering itself to us is a skill that can be developed, with practice. What have you already received today? Birdsong, the scent of lilacs, the delight of a blooming flower? A smile, a fresh breeze, a hug, a question, someone's time and attention? POST 99/100 This post is dedicated to Bintu as I love to call her, another friend from our university days who has evolved from being a friend to becoming a sister. I am deeply grateful for the way you not only opened yourself to me but also welcomed my family into yours. Your sister is like my own sister, my own bestie, and your mum has become like a second mother to me. Thank you for all the support during those challenging and difficult days, your family was a constant ray of light and source of hope. One can never express enough gratitude for the help gotten when it was needed. Managing relationships over an extended period may pose challenges, but it is essential on the journey of personal growth. In addition, the end of the year brings the opportunity to look back and plan ahead. For me, 2023 was special. A year in which I got the opportunity to take over the role as Director of our North Western Europe #Consultancy Group. 2023 was also a year in which we achieved (almost) all of our operational objectives. This thanks to the dedicated support of all our consultants and engineers. As a Consultancy group within Bilfinger Tebodin, we occupy a challenging and centralized position within our service chain. We position the Bilfinger group at the front end of investment projects with for example permitting consultancy and feasibility studies, we support our #engineering business in realizing capital investment projects, we lead construction projects from the aspect of safety and we support our clients in guaranteeing an environmentally conscious, safe, sustainable, efficient and reliable business process. In this way we can support our clients amongst the full life cycle of an asset. This is what makes working as a Consultant at Bilfinger Tebodin so special. You are not only responsible for your 'specialism', but from every specialism a new customer demand can be initiated, with which we position Bilfinger to realize our vision: becoming the number 1 industrial service provider in the field of #efficiency and #sustainability. Our order book also looks good for 2024. This is reflected in our Consultancy #vacancies. In the Netherlands and Belgium we are on the lookout for new colleagues within the fields of #environment, #safety, #sustainability, #assetmanagement and #firesafetyengineering. We are also constantly looking for people with the right #projectmanagement and #processmanagement skills to support our projects.
