I Help Path Finders & Next Gen Leaders Manifest, Realize and Achieve the Purposeful Life They Envision By Harnessing Their Unique Strengths.
It's Friday Evening, and I almost forgot to check in with you all! Can you believe it's the end of May already? I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for just being here. Your presence, interactions, and support have made this month truly special. As we wrap up the Month of May, I’ve been reflecting on what this month has taught me. For me, 1. May was about learning to dust myself off after an unexpected setback, and letting those experiences fuel my drive towards success. 2. May has taught me not to let my external circumstances to influence my course of action. 3. May has taught me that I can take charge of my situation and turn it around completely by focusing on what is truly within my control. 4. May has taught me to unapologetically show up each and every day despite any fears and doubts. 5. May has taught me to take everything one day at a time. What's that one thing you learned this month that really made a difference for you? Share your stories in the comments. Let’s inspire each other as we head into a new Month! #EndOfMay #Gratitude

We're kicking off our very first Value of the Week (VOW) with The Golden Rule Value: Respect. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Respect is all about showing regard for the rights and feelings of those around you—family, friends, teachers, and beyond. It paves the way for healthy, trusting relationships to form. Think of how you can embody respect through your Words, Actions, and Tone. How does behaving respectfully contribute to your growth? Share your thoughts as a family, and stay tuned for more insights on handling unfairness and anger respectfully. 🤝Stay Grounded, and see you next week for our second Value of the Week!

5 BIG THINGS I learned this week. (1) Transparency in communication is critical, especially when you're making decisions that impact peoples' lives. Whether you're sharing good news or bad, take it seriously, plan the words you say and how you say them. (2) Sometimes the airlines run on time, and sometimes they don't. Grateful that this week -- for my travel to and from Syracuse -- everything ran on time ⏰ (3) We always plan "play time" when we get together in person. It's essential for team building and morale. This week, I learned to throw an axe 😎 (4) There should always be 100% participation when you have "play time." Sure, sometimes you have parent-teacher conferences at the same time or your babysitter backs out at the last minute. That's okay. However, when you simply make the choice not to participate, it's a missed opportunity 🙄 (5) And when you miss multiple planned "play times," you're sending a message whether you intended to or not. Onward to another great week. Better understanding. Better decisions. That's KS&R.

Happy new year everybody! 🎉 And welcome to the first #learningOfTheWeek in 2024. 😁 While preparing kick off events for several teams which took place this week, I consulted the Tuckman model developed in 1965 by Bruce Tuckman, consisting of 4 stages which are forming, storming, norming and performing. Later, a fifth stage "adjourning" was added. However, all teams start at the *forming* phase. In this phase, the talents of the team just met. There are a lot of unknowns about the purpose of the team, the mission, how collaboration might work, etc.. Everyone reacts different in such situations and it is important to take everyone with you on the journey. ⛵ As this was the first time I actively applied the Tuckman model, my key learning was how helpful the model is and how well the kick off events went. For each team, I created an overview containing answers to the following questions: - Why are we here? - What is the greater goal? - Who is in my team and which roles do they have? - What are my responsibilities? - Where can I get help? - What are the first goals in the next two weeks? - What are the goals in the next three months? Let me know if you've worked with the Tuckman model before? What were your experiences? 🔎 And shout out to Sven Stüven who introduced me to the Tuckman model in the first place. 🙏 Happy Friday everyone! 😁

Do you have your top three of the day ready? This week, I invite you to identify your top three tasks of the day. These will be three tasks that you can realistically accomplish in one day. The key here, write them down! Make the invisible, visible. Once a task is completed, celebrate!

Today I want you to do something that gives you the ick: brag about yourself. I'll even go first... This week was action-packed: - My next workshop is already at 50% of capacity! I knew this one was going to be popular, I didn't expect it to fill up this quickly though! - I created a brand new bonus for everyone who enrolls in Become Unborthered; the Toxic Job Prevention Checklist (you get immediate access to it when you enroll now!) - I have had +50 DMs from people thanking me for giving them words to their feelings after leaving a toxic job. - I shared my first video in my new format on YouTube and not only is the feedback amazing, the comment conversations are so deep and going down all the rabbit holes I found myself in. This was exactly my goal! - I was selected as the Speaker for a really cool event, and I can't wait to collaborate with the team to design a transformative offsite for them! - Tomorrow night I have a date night with my husband to one of my favorite productions in NYC. Now it's your turn bestie. What wins can you tell me about so I can celebrate you?

How do you plan to say ‘yes’ to yourself and your family this summer? It’s a question we’re continuing to explore this week as I lay out the steps for how to plan an amazing Yes Week for your family this summer. Again, to be clear, Yes Week is not about saying ‘yes’ to your kids. It’s about all of you creating a vision for your lives together - and then practicing saying ‘yes’ to it. At Renala, we believe in a powerful formula for stepping into the life and family you want, and that is… Be > Do > Have. Yesterday, we covered the first step, which is ‘Be.’ During Yes Week, ‘Be’ means creating space to more deeply know each other - each of your Strengths, needs, values, and more - and creating a strong family identity. Today, we’re focusing on ‘Have.’ If it seems the steps are out of order, they’re not. The ‘Have’ is your family vision - and we focus on this step next because you must know where you’re going if you want to ‘Do’ the things that get you there. That’s why we’ll get to ‘Do’ tomorrow. As you deepen in your understanding of yourself and each member of your family (Be), this naturally helps you dream up a vision for who you want to be for each other and for the world (Have). Swipe ➡️ to learn some powerful questions to work on with your family as you develop your vision. This can be done through vision dinners together… …Or simply having conversations as you’re engaging in fun activities throughout Yes Week (we’ll get to that in tomorrow’s post)! What intrigues you so far about planning a Yes Week for your family this summer?
