Data now released by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, identifies the status of the European exhibition market in 17 countries, including Greece for the first time. The certified data is gathered by a network of 12 collaborating industry bodies from across the continent. “This new edition of the annual Euro Fair Statistics report contains data for more exhibitions than in previous years, highlighting the bounce back of exhibitions after Covid-19. It is also interesting to notice that less than 2% of them are ‘hybrid’ events, allowing online visitors. UFI thanks all the national bodies that participate in this report by providing their certified data.” says Kai Hattendorf, UFI CEO. This year GUYEXPO, the largest trade show in Guyana and the longest sustained exhibition in the Caribbean, is expected to attract some 100,000 patrons and 250 booths. This is a notable increase from last year’s 80,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors. Pointing out that Guyana has been on an impressive economic trajectory, with over 49 per cent growth recorded this year alone, Minister Walrond expressed that it also spans multiple industries. The theme of GUYEXPO aims to reflect this with the variety of businesses anticipated to participate in this year’s exposition. Highlighting the Government’s steadfast commitment to supporting small businesses and investing heavily in their growth and development, Minister Walrond added that the once, small and emerging enterprises have now evolved into viable, thriving entities. GUYEXPO offers these businesses a platform to showcase their achievements, one that, the minister, is proud of. https://lnkd.in/e9S9ytSt

The U.S. B2B exhibition industry experienced a minor slowdown following a robust Q1 in 2024, according to the CEIR - Center for Exhibition Industry Research Q2 2024 Index, which measures overall exhibition performance by four metrics—exhibitors, attendance, net square footage and real revenues. Due to a modest performance in all four of the CEIR metrics for completed events, the Q2 Index value dropped from 92.3 in Q1 to 87.7 in Q2, compared to 100 in 2019. However, CEIR officials say that while the recovery of the exhibition sector has been an uneven one, the economic environment should support further improvements. What else does the CEIR data reveal? TSNN has curated a list of takeaways from CEIR’s latest Index report. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eC6b99ee #tradeshow #tradeshows #eventprofs #exhibitions
