🎉 Impressive Financial Milestones Achieved by EssilorLuxottica in 2023! 🎉 EssilorLuxottica has yet again set a benchmark in the eyewear industry with its remarkable financial performance in 2023! Achieving a total revenue of €25.395 billion, the group saw a 7.1% increase year-over-year, marking over three consecutive years of growth surpassing 7.0%. 🚀 The year 2023 wrapped up with a strong free cash flow of €2.4 billion and an adjusted operating profit margin of 16.9%, alongside an adjusted net profit of €2.946 billion. 💰 Noteworthy is the Q4 performance, with revenues hitting €6.25 billion, up by 7.1%. This surge was particularly driven by accelerated growth in North America and sustained momentum in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Asia-Pacific and Latin America shined brightly, with China and Brazil emerging as pivotal growth drivers. 🌏 The introduction of new brands energized the frames segment, with licensed brand business witnessing double-digit growth. In Asia-Pacific, revenue reached €3.036 billion, a whopping 14.3% increase at constant exchange rates, led by a robust recovery in Greater China from February onwards. The rebound in Greater China was supported by strong growth across all channels and products, especially with brands like StarFinder doubling their revenue for two consecutive years, and luxury licensed brands, Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Bolon performing exceptionally well. By region, North America grew by 4.2% to €11.637 billion, EMEA by 8.2% to €9.184 billion, Asia-Pacific by 14.3% to €3.036 billion, and Latin America by 9.9% to €1.537 billion.
