Today, Transnet National Ports Authority in the Eastern Region sealed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Fujian Port Group. The two entities signed an agreement which seeks to strengthen collaboration and partnership between the Fujian Port Group and TNPA Eastern Region. Through the agreement, the two entities intend to share on areas of best practice, cost management, port service excellence, customer satisfaction strategies, port performance enhancement, port modernisation in smart port operations, as well as utilise their respective regional advantages to generate greater competitive advantages. With the ultimate aim of realizing strategic goals of complementary advantages and mutually beneficial cooperation.

11moI must respectfully disagree that this mou has any benefit for the people of South Africa - there are much easier and better ways to fix the huge problems that exist and at the same time uplift all the people of our land- which is something this mou definitely won’t do
