Wow—targeted, in-person events are where it's at. Last night Capsule hosted our second private dinner (this time in Boston, my old stomping grounds!) Here's why it was a success: ✅ The guest list was very targeted—creative and marketing leaders at B2B SaaS companies. People wanna connect with their peers. Being the facilitator of that is a huge win. ✅ The food, drinks, and environment were 👌👌 ✅ The selling was just strong enough to frame the problems Capsule solves, start interesting discussions, and have clear next steps for sales. My dinner pal Margaret Kelsey said it best: As digital channels get oversaturated, B2B decision makers are increasingly turning to their peers for recommendations. Slack groups, personal networks, group texts. And small, in-person gatherings. Thanks to everyone who joined last night from companies like HubSpot, Commvault, Bullhorn, Workhuman, Toast, CyberArk, LinkSquares, Tulip Interfaces, and La Hacienda. Can't wait to do more of these.

About a week and change removed from the PLGTM conference, and I’m feeling so bullish on the world of warm outbound. Here’s why: This event was filled with our competitors. Some might find this contentious, but I found it promising. Even though we’re all competing, you can tell that everyone's finding their path to success. A rising tide lifts all boats. There's one consistent theme: spray and pray is performing worse each year, and GTM teams are hungry for prospects that actually convert. Enter warm outbound. There’s a passionate community forming around the warm outbound category. I'm stoked to get to spend more time with leaders in the space over the next couple of years. Not to mention we were able to book some quality meetings from the event and met a ton of potential prospects. Overall – it was a great industry touchpoint. Great hanging out Josh Wetzel, Gallant Chen, Pål Fredrik Braaten, Jon Eide Johnsen among others 🙂

The most powerful and underutilized way to get a massive turnout to your LinkedIn webinar is.....INVITE MORE PEOPLE TO IT! Crazy, right? LinkedIn allows each account to send 1000 event invites to connections every week. Yes, that's per account. So, if you have a sales team of 5 people then you can send 5000 invites per week. If your webinar is a month from now, you could invite 20,000 people to it. Even with a 1% acceptance rate, that would be 2000 attendees.

You know they have intent and are checking your emails, messages, and voicemails. Send them a video and really pop, shine, and be different from the rest.
