We are a remote first company at Plumm and always have been even pre-COVID. We have people from so many countries UK, USA, India, South Africa, Dubai and so on working towards supporting 10's of thousands of people's mental health in workplaces. A space that is close to my heart because of my own personal struggles with mental health in the past. All this wouldn't been possible if it wasn't for remote work and how technology has brought us together. BUT at our core we humans are social beings and nothing beats in-person interactions. Every now and again we have brought people together within their own countries. So a UK get together, South Africa get together and so on. But after working for years together there are so many of us who have never met each other in person yet! And that is an aspiration of ours to be able to hug each other, share a meal, laugh and cry together. This is what we have been trying to work towards since a long time but everytime one budget constraint over another has kept blocking us. If we were to win this we would not just be able to strengthen our bonds but off the back of that create even more MAGIC and support the world truly needs at the time of the mental health crises 💙

As a small scale-up with an office in Rotterdam and one in Barcelona, and with some colleagues who work fully from home, business travel is what increases our sense of belonging at Rinkel. We offer everyone the possibility to travel to or between our offices, and I love to see how my colleagues have started requesting trips in in order see their peers and work together side by side, and the excitement, energy and engagement they return with. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

Business travel is about to get a lot bigger for us at dslx. We're now stepping into our third year of business and even though we started things totally online, it's proving to be so valuable to connect IRL. We've got our first ever company off-site in the works this September in Lisbon! It'll just be the four of us and I cannot wait to have the team all together for the first time! We're also exploring visiting some of our OG clients this year. I've already started making the trips to visit clients across London and Barcelona, and would love to do more of it for clients further afield. It's enabling us to affirm working relationships and finally put a human behind all of this great work. We are more than email addresses and Slack bios, and I can't wait to showcase and discover that in 2024 and beyond! 💪

Business travel is essential for fostering connections that remote work can't fully replicate. Winning this credit would allow our team to meet in person, strengthen our bonds, and enhance our collaboration. 🌍✈️ Plumm

Coming together as a remote company is crucial for fostering a strong, cohesive team. 💚 While remote work offers flexibility and independence, it can sometimes lead to feelings of isolation or detachment. Regular interaction among team members, whether through virtual meetings, collaborative projects, or casual chats, helps build relationships and trust. 💙 These connections are essential for effective communication, shared understanding, and a sense of belonging. 💜 By creating opportunities for meaningful engagement, remote companies can maintain a positive work culture, boost morale, and ensure everyone feels valued and connected, regardless of physical distance. 💗 It's time we bring the amazing team of Plumm together!!

Being that we work fully remote, we really treasure the moments we can get together.❤️ Plumm is a remote first company. I think I speak for each and everyone one of the team when I say, this has been so amazing for us and our mental health that we can spend more time with our loved ones than commuting to the office. That being said we have spoken about this on numerous meetings, we would love the opportunity to bring all of our global teams together for a chance to bond and just hug each other!  We’ve made it our mission to support the mental wellbeing of employees across the world. It would mean the world to us to be able to bring the whole team together, to bond and to remind ourselves why what we are doing is so important and recharge for the journey ahead! 🙏🏽

I'd say there's 3 key reasons why business travel is important to me and for SalesScreen 1. We're a global company and it's essential for us to meet in person. To collaborate, share ideas and solve problems. With that being said, the relationships we build with our colleagues whilst together in person are just as important. 2. Providing value to our customers - if our customers win, we win, and although we do the majority of our meetings and projects online there is no substitute for in person collaboration and relationship building 3. Building new business relationships - we've had a focus this last 12 months on attending and sponsoring in person events. With prospecting channels filled with a lot of noise these type of events have helped us create long lasting relationships and grow our networks
