I caught up with Ben Gogan and Andy Dredge at Petersfield Wastewater Treatment works earlier this week. It fantastic news that work is nearing completion with the newly build storm tank being used and already storing storm water and protecting the environment. At nearly double the size of the four old storm tanks that are on site this increase allows for a longer retention time on site, reducing the number of spills to the environment. #construction #engineering #wastewater Southern Water RSK Group Binnies Galliford Try

On the one hand, these upgrades are long overdue in some areas. But will key changes be made that solve long-term problems, rather than just applying temporary touch-ups and minor fixes? #sewer #stormwater #sewerinspection https://lnkd.in/g4MAA56i
