Looking to make the right hire in healthcare? Here are three tips from Trevor Frances Recruitment to help you build a strong, patient or resident focused team: 👉Focus on cultural fit: Healthcare is a deeply personal and often stressful field. Look for candidates whose values align with your organization's mission and who demonstrate empathy and compassion. Cultural fit can be just as important as skills and experience. 👉Prioritize patient-centered care: Look for candidates who prioritize patient care and have a track record of providing high-quality, compassionate care. This can be assessed through behavioral interview questions and reference checks. 👉Consider soft skills: In addition to technical skills, prioritize candidates who possess strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. These skills are essential in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment. By focusing on these tips, you can improve the quality of your hires and build a strong team that delivers excellent patient or resident care. 🩺Helping small & mid-size medical practices/groups recruit clinical and support staff | Advisor on recruiting and hiring - Let's save time & resources | CEO Top Medical Talent | HR Professional | 🌱WFPB supporter
People are your greatest asset! -Find the right ones, -and together, you'll achieve miracles. In the healthcare industry, where the human touch is crucial, hiring decisions can make or break your practice. As someone on the frontline of recruitment for small medical practices and healthcare groups, I've seen firsthand how prioritizing attitude in hiring can transform a workplace. Why? Because skills can be taught, but passion, resilience, and empathy – especially important in healthcare – are intrinsic. Experience matters, and education is a strong foundation, but neither guarantees success like the right attitude does. So next time you're sifting through resumes or conducting interviews, ask yourself: Will this person contribute positively to our team culture? Do they have compassion, which is critical for patient care? Choosing candidates who align with your core values not only enriches your team but ensures the continuity of care that patients deserve. In healthcare more than any other field, it's not just about filling a vacancy. It's about enriching a community. #HealthcareHiring #EmployeeRetention #AttitudeMatters

𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 As I continue my journey in healthcare recruitment at Omega Medical, I find myself reflecting on the profound personal growth that this profession has afforded me. Each interaction with candidates, each interview conducted, and each hire made has contributed to my development in ways I never anticipated. One of the most significant lessons I've learned is the importance of empathy and understanding. Empathy is not just a soft skill but a fundamental aspect of building meaningful connections with candidates. Taking the time to truly listen to their stories, understand their aspirations, and empathise with their challenges has not only made me a better recruiter but also a better person. Another area of growth for me has been adaptability. Learning to adapt to changes, whether it's mastering a new sourcing tool or adjusting my approach to remote hiring, this has been essential in staying ahead of the curve and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Moreover, working in recruitment has taught me the value of resilience. Rejection is an inevitable part of the job, and learning to bounce back from setbacks and keep pushing forward has been crucial in maintaining momentum and achieving success. As I continue to evolve and grow in my role here Omega Medical, I am grateful for the lessons learned and the opportunities for personal development that recruitment and Omega Medical has provided me. How do you approach experience when recruiting for a new role? The debate often revolves around the minimum level required, with some emphasizing transferable skills. It's acceptable to hire individuals without experience if they can be adequately trained, especially in non-life-threatening industries. However, in healthcare, where lives are at stake, relevant experience and skills are crucial to ensuring the well-being of others. Before making any hiring decisions, it's essential to confirm that the candidate is sufficiently trained to handle the responsibilities. How Do You Source Entry-Level Healthcare Candidates Effectively? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gtZXxTDF #HealthcareRecruiting #EntryLevelJobs #SourcingCandidates #RecruitmentChallenges Hey everyone! 👋 I've been diving into sourcing and screening candidates for entry-level healthcare positions for about three months. It’s been a fascinating journey, but I’m running into a few challenges, and I’d love to tap into your experiences and insights. Here's the scoop: Why Entry-Level? My firm believes that entry-level jobs with little to no licensure represent a huge growth area in healthcare. However, I've noticed that the majority of candidates I speak with don’t have any prior healthcare experience. 🤔 Candidate Backgrounds: A lot of these candidates are transitioning into healthcare or are recent immigrants looking to rebuild their careers, often with significant experience overseas. While this is great, I’m curious about how you guys evaluate their fit when they don't have that direct background in the field. So, I have a couple of burning questions: Getting Creative: How do you manage the screening process when traditional experience is less relevant? Are th...

As a healthcare recruitment agency, we don't just fill positions,we build teams. It's more than matching skills on a resume to a job description. It's about creating a synergy, a collective force that makes a real difference in the lives of patients. Think about it: a well-functioning healthcare team is like a well-oiled machine. Each member has their expertise, but they work together seamlessly, anticipating each other's needs and communicating effectively. We take the time to understand the unique needs of each healthcare facility, the specific dynamics of their existing team, and the kind of individual who will truly flourish in that environment. Our success isn't measured by numbers on a page. It's measured in the stories we hear: ●The patient who received exceptional care from a team that went above and beyond. ●The nurse who found a supportive environment where they could truly use their skills. ●The facility that finally built a cohesive team, leading to improved patient satisfaction. It's about connecting the right people with the right opportunity about fostering that sense of shared purpose that leads to exceptional care. So, the next time you see a healthcare team working seamlessly, remember, there might be a healthcare recruiter behind the scenes, quietly celebrating the lives they've helped touch! #healthcarerecruitment #healthcarejobs #domicilliarycare #domicilliaryjobs #mondaymotivation
