Join us this Friday, April 5th at 12 PM with Robyn Russell & Ivy Jack from the Diverse Investing Collective Register here: https://lnkd.in/eQqgwwsA For too long, the people designing and driving our financial system have looked the same. Only 14% of fund managers are women, and that number hasn't changed in 20 years! People of color are more severely underrepresented in asset management, including those who are Black and Hispanic/Latinx. This interactive conversation will review the evidence of outperformance by diverse teams, and give attendees concrete action steps they can take to diversify the teams managing their assets. It’s time to change the face of finance and put more assets into the hands of women and people of color. #collectiveconversations #impact #empoweringwomen #finance #investing #education #racialwealthgap #diversity #community #whocontrolscapitalmatters #itstimetochangethefaceoffinance #wecanonlydothistogether

Earlier this month, Fidelity unveiled new data that found 7 in 10 women own investments in the stock market – which is amazing and 18% growth from 2023! But you know me – I want that number to be 100%!!! So what’s holding us back from getting to 100%? According to our study, lack of confidence is a big factor! Women are less likely to say they consider themselves an investor than men, AND are nearly two times more likely than men to describe their level of investing knowledge as “non-existent.” Let’s work to close the financial gender gap together! Join us for Women Talk Money’s fall event series to learn how you can build your confidence and invest for the future. #FidelityAssociate

The financial services industry is undergoing a shift. The next generation of investors will be younger and more diverse, with women taking a more prominent role in building and growing family and personal wealth. Women are underrepresented in the investing world, but this is changing fast. While various cultural and societal reasons are contributors to this, there is also a more simple driver: rising economic might. Click below to see more!
