A crucial reminder on this #WorldMentalHealthDay. Mental health is often overlooked, especially in spaces where people need extra support, like individuals with special needs. In my experience, creating an inclusive, compassionate environment is not just about education—it’s about recognizing the emotional well-being of each individual. Let’s continue advocating for open conversations, early intervention, and the importance of self-care. Mental health care should be a priority for all of us. Let’s make a difference, one step at a time. 💙 #MentalHealthMatters #Inclusion #SpecialNeedsSupport #CommunityCare

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, a time for us all to focus on how mental health impacts individuals and society as a whole. The theme of this year is movement - encouraging us all to think about how moving more can have a positive impact on our wellbeing. We'll be encouraging all of our staff to take part. And not only to consider their mental health this week, but every week! Of course, for those with significant diagnosable mental health conditions, seeking solutions can often be complex and it's not as easy as 'go for a walk'. We want to recognise those people, too. Working with high acuity mental health individuals, as well as those with physical health conditions which sadly make someone more susceptible to mental ill health, the prevalence is all too clear to us. #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth
