Almost a fifth of the average workforce is menopausal and – with care being a female-dominated industry – this is likely higher for workplaces such as ourselves. That’s why we’re pleased to announce that as part of our roll-out of entirely new policies and procedure systems, we have a brand new menopause policy. The policy recognises the physical and emotional effects menopause can have for individuals, and encourages them to speak to their line manager – or any senior member of staff they feel comfortable with – if they are experiencing symptoms and need additional support at work.
