I have been renting from Tricon for the past 3 years. I moved out on May 13 2024, and still have yet to receive my deposit. I left the property in great condition/ move in ready. So they have no reason to keep my deposit. I have called and emailed on multiple occasions. I have received a phone call on 3 different occasions from a lady in the Charlotte office. The first time she called stating she didn’t know why I haven’t received my deposit but It’s in the mail and I will receive it in 7-14 days the last day being Aug 2nd. The 2nd time she called she stated they have mailed out checks and both got returned so she would be calling me back later today or first thing tomorrow with a tracking number. The 3rd time she called which was July 31st she stated she was waiting on the corporate office in CA to open and she will call me back with a tracking number. Never heard from her again. August 2nd I called no answer. And still no deposit. Now I want my full deposit of $2,399 plus 8% interest plus $250 inconvenience fee. Anything less I’m going to court because yall have no right to keep my deposit.
