Trinex Minerals Limited has identified numerous spodumene-bearing pegmatite outcrops and boulders in the northern half of the Halo-Yuri Project in Canada, presenting high-priority walk-up drill targets. The terrain in the northern area is flat-lying tundra dominated by glacial till, boulder fields, marshes, and lakes. #Spodumene-bearing pegmatite encountered was typically as boulders, with 278 mineralised boulders observed, and 24 mineralised outcrops mapped. See below for #TX3's photographs of the spodumene in pegmatites and also a representation of this terrain. Discover more: https://loom.ly/f-jI9h8 #TrinexMinerals #Lithium #ASX

The mineralised pegmatite system that comprises Latin Resources Limited's Colina Deposit is primarily composed of spodumene, feldspar, and quartz, and is located within a structural corridor that extends over an extensive strike length ~2.7km from northeast to southwest. The latest Colina MRE update has increased the total resource base by 11% from 63.5Mt to 70.9Mt and increased contained #Lithium Carbonate Equivalent from 2.05Mt to 2.20Mt. #LRS's MRE reflected the high levels of confidence in both the geological continuity and grade of the Colina pegmatites. Fig. 3. Thompson Mine corundum with fine rutile “silk” inclusions, the cause of the dominantly brown color. Larger, rounded crystal inclusions are probably rutile and zircon. Thin section photographed in plane polarized light. • A novel type of corundum host environment is described from the Thompson Mine, northern Manitoba. • Thompson corundum contains high Ni concentrations relative to most Cr-enriched corundum occurrences, a result of formation in an exceptionally Ni-rich environment. • Corundum occurs within a high-grade metamorphic reaction zone between boudinaged metaperidotite bodies, sulfide ore, and Al-rich pelitic schist of the Pipe Formation (Ospwagan Group). • The geochemical signature of Thompson corundum (enrichment in Fe, Cr, and Ni) resembles that of ruby in other metamorphic and metasomatic mafic-ultramafic-hosted deposits, and the Cr concentration is comparable to the low range of rubies. • Chromium-bearing corundum has been suggested as a possible indicator mineral for metamorphosed massive sulfide deposits, however, it is an indirect indicator that risks yielding false positives Corundum in Sulfide Ore at the Thompson Mine, Manitoba, Canada: An Unusual Occurrence of Cr- and Ni-Bearing Corundum P.M. Soil Sampling Uncovers Gold Target at Saltwater Project · Latest phase of soil sampling completed over recent rock-chip anomalies delivers strong gold and polymetallic anomalism across three prospects: o Soil sampling identifies strong gold anomalism containing 0.38g/t Au and 356ppm As. o In addition to previously reported cobalt-copper, further manganese-cobalt polymetallic anomalism containing 1.1% Mn, 612ppm Co, 387ppm Cu, 0.37g/t Ag and 0.19% Ba o Soil Sampling also detected REE and telluride enrichment containing 295ppm Ce, 160ppm La and 535ppm Ba The soil sampling programs have been strategically planned to collect samples from areas with previous anomalous rock chip samples, and vector in on mineralisation source locations. In addition to the new Greenfields gold target, Aruma’s soil sampling has verified the existence of further Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) systems with elements such as manganese, barium, copper, and cobalt. The findings also feature a series of anomalies of rare earth elements (REE) and tellurides, within the soil. https://lnkd.in/euriTDG4

Torr Metals Inc. CEO Malcolm Dorsey joined Steve Darling to share exciting updates regarding the company's Kolos Project. Torr Metals has unveiled the final assay results from its 2023 soil sampling program conducted on the Kolos Project, situated just 23 kilometers north-northeast of Merritt, British Columbia, along Highway 5. Dorsey revealed to Proactive that the comprehensive analysis of a total of 3,348 soil samples, covering an expansive area of 48 square kilometers, has yielded promising results. The analysis has delineated five kilometer-scale mineralized zones within a potential cluster porphyry trend spanning 7 kilometers. Notably, each zone exhibits highly anomalous copper (Cu) concentrations, surpassing 200 parts per million (ppm) and reaching a maximum of 1175 ppm Cu. Canstar's Golden Baie Project is located 89 km southwest of the past-producing Chinese-owned Beaver Brook Antimony ("Sb") Mine, which hosted a 2.2-million-tonne deposit grading 3.99% Sb at 1.5% cutoff (Sandeman et. al., 2018). In addition to Golden Baie's extensive gold anomalies—including over 315 bedrock samples with more than 1 g/t gold, and till samples with up to 1,049 gold grains—it also features multiple high-grade* antimony anomalies at the Swanger's Cove and Le Pouvoir prospects with bedrock and channel samples assaying between 20.4% and 74.4% Sb https://lnkd.in/gA4i-NPQ

A well-optimized mineral library can make wonders for automated mineralogy mapping! Check this example of a carbonate-chalcopyrite vein, where iron content diminishes progressively. The carbonates transition from Fe-rich Ankerite (Ank-Fe), to Ankerite (Ank), and Calcite (Cal), filling the final voids in the vein alongside Chalcopyrite (Ccp), illustrating a fluid pathway with decreasing iron leading to chalcopyrite mineralization. The image also shows potassic alteration in the form of Biotite (Bt) in areas of higher fluid flow (e.g. grain/vein boundaries), and K-feldspar (Ksp) in areas of lower fluid flow within albitized metasedimentary host-rock. Sample from somewhere in South Australia.

Extensive silver, copper, lead and zinc mineralisation confirmed with high-grade assay results, up to 87.8g/t Ag from second rock-chip sampling program at the Kempfield NW Mineralised Zone. The Kempfield NW Mineralised Zone is a major mineralisation extension from the Kempfield Deposit which was discovered in March 2024 through surface sampling along strike from Lode 300 Mineralised Block which contains 5.1M oz Ag @ 102 Ag Eq (g/t), totalling 16.2 Moz Silver equivalent resource. Managing Director Mr Pedro Kastellorizos commented: “Further surface assay results have confirmed new mineralised gossans within the Kempfield NW Mineralised Zone. These exciting new zones host the same geology and geochemical signatures as the main mineralisation over the Kempfield Deposit. Based on the defined mineralised dimensions, the strike of the mineralised zones surpasses the existing Kempfield JORC Resource area, elevating Kempfield’s exploration upside. We plan to drill these newly defined mineralised zones in 2024 once all regulatory approvals have been granted to Argent”.
