🔎 Interested in learning more about the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and how to prepare? The CSRD will apply to many international companies including those headquartered in the US, starting as early as January 1, 2024. The CSRD is the most detailed and extensive set of ESG reporting requirements anywhere in the world. Complying with the CSRD will present numerous complex legal and practical challenges. We’re teaming up with Jones Day to provide a practical, hands-on workshop on the intricacies of CSRD compliance, particularly for non-EU companies, and how to prepare. 📌 Key discussion points: 1) The 'who', 'what', and 'when' of CSRD applicability 2) A practical guide to analyzing complex corporate structures and highlighting specific matters relating to issuers of securities in the EU 3) Conducting a 'gap' analysis against current ESG disclosure 4) What 'value chain' means and how to conduct a 'double materiality' assessment 5) Implementing ESG-related policies and procedures 6) Hands-on tips to manage legal risks arising out of the new disclosure obligations Register now to save your spot: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eTJVK_zr Corinna Kester Patrick Moloney Armelle Sandrin-Deforge Aidan Lawes Seth E. CSRD is an important driver of the standardization and reporting of sustainability information, and increasingly companies within the States are going to be impacted by it. Luckily, based on our experience in the EU, Ramboll has immense depth of expertise to help guide companies through this process. My colleagues Corinna Kester and Patrick Moloney have a webinar coming up next week that will go over what non-EU companies should be doing to start to prepare their business for the further rollout of this important sustainability legislation. Please join if 1) you're interested in understanding how you may be impacted by CSRD, 2) you know you'll be impacted and want to understand how to start to prepare, and/or 3) you're a sustainability nerd like me and are just generally interested. #CSRD #Sustainability #ESG #PartnerForSustainableChange

With a significant and growing increase in #ESG relevant regulation, it is becoming more important and challenging to keep track of the regulatory landscape. With tools like the CMS CSDDD Navigator, we are trying to help our clients mitigate their risks. It was great to have the opportunity to discuss a variety of ESG regulations with clients, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (#CSRD), the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (#CSDDD) and the EU Deforestation Regulation.(#EUDeforestationRegulation).
📢 Last week, our international ESG team met with four clients in Amsterdam to help them implement and embed their #ESG strategy. We provided training sessions focused on ESG reporting obligations, in particular the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (#CSRD), EU Sustainability Reporting Standards (#ESRS) and the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (#CSDDD). We also focused on sector specific ESG concerns, practical considerations and how our clients can mitigate their risks. Did you know we launched a technical solution for companies to perform a gap analysis to proactively prepare and be ready to comply with the ESG due diligence requirements proposed by the CSDDD? 👉 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗠𝗦 𝗖𝗦𝗗𝗗𝗗 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://lnkd.in/e6-KKTnm Thank you to Aukje Haan and the wider Dutch team members for organising and hosting us.
