Saudi has huge untapped potential to attract 70 million foreign visitors each year by adopting open and friendly policies like Dubai. To increase from 27 mil to 70 mil foreign visitors each year, Saudi need a comprehensive approach that focuses on: 1. Diverse Destinations: Promote Saudi's unique cultural and natural sites. 2. Ease of Access: Streamline visa processes and increase direct flights. 3. Global Marketing: Launch targeted campaigns and participate in travel expos, offer packages and free tickets. 4. Tourist Infrastructure: Invest in world-class hotels, transportation, entertainments and sustainable tourism. 5. Enhanced Experience: Ensure cultural sensitivity, multilingual services, and top-notch safety. 6. Major Events: Host international events and enhance pilgrimage tourism. 7. Attractive Packages: Partner with global operators to create compelling travel deals. 8. Continuous Improvement: Adapt to tourist feedback and evolving global trends. By implementing these strategies, we can position Saudi as a premier travel destination, contributing to economic diversification and global recognition. #SaudiTourism #Vision2030 Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services #mbs Saudi Vision 2030 Saudi Vision 2030 https://lnkd.in/dSWa-p8w

Saudi Arabia has announced the cancellation of fees for issuing commercial activity licenses for hotels, hotel apartments, and residential resorts, effective September 4. This decision is part of the Tourism Investment Enabler Program launched in March, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to becoming a global tourism powerhouse. Aligned with Vision 2030, this initiative aims to position Saudi Arabia as a leading tourist destination. By removing these fees, the Kingdom is encouraging greater investment in the tourism sector, which is expected to boost its contribution to the national GDP significantly. #Saudi Arabia's #hospitality market offers numerous #opportunities for agile, #tech-savvy innovators. The #domestic #tourism sector is pivotal to the success of the country's booming hospitality industry, with nearly 65% of Saudis #traveling within the Kingdom one to three times a month. A significant trend is the youthful demographic, with approximately two-thirds of the population under 37 years old. To appeal to a diverse range of travelers, developers must provide a variety of experiences, from #High-end accommodations to #budget-friendly youth hostels, catering to all types of visitors. Currently, only 13% of hotel supply falls within the 3-star category. #Unique brands and #niche concepts will be increasingly sought after by both local and international tourists, offering authentic and meaningful cultural #experiences, fostering #brand loyalty, and promoting local culture and content. #KSA's real estate and #infrastructure development pipeline is valued at USD 1.2 trillion, with USD 21.3 billion dedicated to non-giga #projects, representing around one-third of the #Kingdom’s #total #expenditure. At least 60% of these projects are expected to be operational by 2028. This underscores the ambitious nature of Saudi Arabia's #Vision2030, which aims to attract more than 100 million #visitors by 2030. Over the next decade, the Kingdom is poised to unlock significant #hospitalityinvestment #opportunities, transform the country's landscape, and #redefine tourism.

The tourism and hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia is experiencing an unprecedented boom, marked by record-breaking growth and ambitious future plans. The first half of 2023 saw a phenomenal 142% surge in international arrivals compared to the same period in 2022, translating to 14.6 million visitors and $23.2 billion in tourism spending. As part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the hospitality sector is set to add approximately 315,000 new hotel rooms by 2030, more than doubling the current number in Dubai. The Kingdom's commitment to becoming a global tourism hub is evident. While the market caters to high-end experiences, there is also a significant opportunity for quality, affordable accommodation, ensuring a balanced approach to serve a wide range of tourists. With ongoing investments in infrastructure and a legislative framework that encourages international investment, Saudi Arabia is well on its way to achieving its ambitious target of 150 million tourists by 2030. The Kingdom is poised to redefine global tourism standards as it transforms into a major global player. #SaudiArabia #Tourism #Hospitality #Vision2030 #EconomicGrowth #TravelIndustry #TASCOutsourcing #TASCCorporateServices

🌍 The Growing Travel Industry in Saudi Arabia: A Hub for Opportunities 🇸🇦 As part of my recent research into the travel sector, I’ve uncovered remarkable insights into how Saudi Arabia is rapidly rising as a global tourism destination. The cities of Mecca and Medina, traditionally religious hubs, are now becoming centers of economic opportunity. Pilgrims visiting these sacred cities have fueled unprecedented growth in hospitality, transportation, and service industries, creating a thriving ecosystem of jobs and investments. ✈️ Beyond religious tourism, the travel industry plays a significant role in boosting economies worldwide. By welcoming travelers and fostering cross-cultural exchanges, nations create pathways for sustainable growth, diversify revenue streams, and open new avenues for innovation and development. #SaudiArabia #MeccaAndMedina #TravelIndustry #EconomicGrowth #ReligiousTourism #BoostingEconomies #ResearchInsights #TourismDevelopment Mahmoud EL-Enawy Beverleigh Hart Liz Wright Danielle Gannon iTravel by Lorraine Hales kanza A.
