It’s not just about developing impressive tech but ensuring it meets end-users’ needs and that there is a commercial market for it. 🎯 Timing and Persistence: Introducing products at the right time and being persistent, especially during slow periods, is key. Securing an anchor customer and quick Letters of Intent is a pivotal moment for startups, providing crucial market validation and attracting further investment and additional customers. These are his key takeaways: 🔹 Positive Sentiment: The sentiment about the potential of European DeepTech startups was highly positive. There’s a strong belief in the innovative capabilities and future prospects of these ventures. 🔹 Leadership in R&D: Europe is globally leading in DeepTech R&D. However, we need ambitious startup entrepreneurs who can transform this R&D excellence into globally leading companies. 🔹 Global Mindset: For European startups to thrive, they need to think globally from day one. Much of the customer base for DeepTech innovation is outside of Europe, and adopting a global perspective is crucial for success. These insights underline the opportunities and challenges within the European DeepTech ecosystem. Thrilled to have attended Vivatech 2024 in Paris , Europe's biggest startup and tech event! This incredible experience was filled with inspiring moments and invaluable insights. I had the unique opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with none other than Elon Musk, where we discussed the future of technology and innovation in a more personal note. Listening to Bernard Arnault's perspective on how entrepreneurs should emulate world-class athletes was truly eye-opening. His emphasis on discipline, resilience, and continuous improvement is food for thought for everyone starting their business. Eric Schmidt's prediction regarding call-to-action models being the “next big thing” has sparked new ideas and strategies within our team. Engaging with so many incredible startups and walking almost 60,000 steps in those three days alone was both exhausting and exhilarating! Europe's thriving startup ecosystem, especially the impressive Paris tech scene, showcased the immense potential and innovation happening right there. Here's to driving change, embracing innovation, and building a better future together!
