I'm excited to share that I've completed the AI-driven Data Analytics portion of my externship with Beats by Dre and Extern! During this phase, I engineered LLM prompts, developed conversational bots, analyzed consumer data, created impactful visualizations, and built dynamic dashboards using AI to visualize key insights. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how AI can drive actionable insights and innovation in the consumer tech space. If you want to hear how AGI will plot against us, take all of our jobs and finally eat us for breakfast, do NOT come to this talk 😇. Instead, I'll try to focus on questions that are in my opinion more practical and urgent: why and how AI is going to dramatically affect us as professionals, and how to take advantage of the revolution that's coming 🚀. Since the latest #AI craze has crested the peak of inflated expectations and we can now focus on reaching the plateau of productivity, the awesome folks at Stand.earth's Research Group (shoutout to Brian Orland, Matthew Lichty and Angeline Robertson) have been leading the way in finding innovative ways of leveraging #LLM tools in their work. Their pilot project is focusing on AI-assisted research into fossil fuel financing in Amazonia. Reviewing a bank's #ESRM policy would usually take a couple of hours, but with the help of #ChatGPT, it's a matter of few seconds. And the results are remarkably accurate. While others (ehm Microsoft) are using AI to boost fossil fuel production, I am so very excited about the potential that AI-assisted research & innovation can bring to the environmental movement. ❓❓❓Are there use cases around leveraging #AI in the climate movement that you are excited to try or are already piloting? A great session on #impact measurement today on #DAY4 of Teens in AI's 👉 #AI4Good2024 Incubator 👈 I tried to put forward two key ideas: 🥇 You can build the most awesome tech, but if you don't have a clear way to measure the impact you're trying to make, good intentions alone won't cut it. 🥈 And let's be real—making money isn't the only thing that matters. It’s not the only way to measure the impact your project has on the world. I truly hope the teams take stock of these ideas and reflect them on their upcoming pitches!! And remember: it is possible to build great tech, a successful business, do good, and take care of each other and the environment.

Not very often do organizations dive into the inner workings of technology before implementing it. The team of the LEAD Network Europe has done that yesterday!
