Exciting news: The findings from an incredible collaboration with Rasmus Munk, Sandra Sinem KAYA, and the team at Alchemist have just been accepted for publication! 🎉📄 Together, we explored how emotions shape our sense of taste. We recruited a couple hundred volunteers for a drink-tasting session at Alchemist, where dining is enhanced by a 360-degree immersive dome experience. 🌌✨ The participants didn’t know they were sampling just two drinks (kombucha and water kefir) 🍶, each paired twice with different emotional scenes projected in the dome. The results? The same drink tasted sweeter and less bitter and sour when paired with pleasant (vs. unpleasant) emotional visuals. 😮🍋 Thank you to Rasmus and the Alchemist team for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of multisensory gastronomy. 🍴💡 Excited to keep exploring how emotions can transform our meals! #Research #FoodScience #Emotion #Innovation
