🛡️ Food safety is a top priority, especially with the tightening of FSMA 204 regulations. Recall readiness and proper traceability are crucial for retailers. Consider this: A recent recall involving one ingredient across 361 companies and nearly 4,000 products, caused a 25% drop in peanut sales, including peanut butter. Even though retail products weren't directly involved, the impact was massive. This is why robust traceability is essential. It helps mitigate risks, protect consumers, and maintain trust.🔍 Let’s prioritize smart solutions to enhance traceability and be ready for any challenges! 🚀 #FoodSafety #FSMA204 #Traceability #RecallReadiness #RetailSolutions #Grocery #FoodRetail #Supermarket

The FDA’s recently released Food Traceability Rule will help quickly identify and mitigate risks associated with high-risk foods prone to contamination. This new rule establishes more thorough traceability recordkeeping requirements for those who manufacture, process, pack, or hold foods included on the food traceability list. The Food Traceability Rule represents a shift in the food supply chain and increases the need for a sophisticated warehouse management system to record and process real-time information. With the compliance date coming in January 2026, warehouses still have time to stay ahead of the changes. What makes a belt food-certified? 🤔 The three main factors to keep in mind are: 🔹 Material standards: The belt must be made from materials that are safe for food contact, resistant to contamination, and easy to clean. 🔹 Application standards: The belt should be designed to meet specific application requirements; for example, it should be able to withstand operating temperatures for the application, or frequent washing when required. 🔹 Industry standards, such as ISO 22.000: There can be different food safety standards that you need to keep in mind, depending on local, national or regional requirements. ✅ Ensuring your belts meet all these criteria is essential for maintaining safety and efficiency in food production.
