With a bold commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, we've installed an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) of 100 KLD capacity, thereby increasing the Total ETP Capacity to 250 KLD. Moreover, the Company has installed a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of 65 KLD capacity, increasing the Total STP capacity to 127 KLD. We are getting ready for 55! 💪   The recent ratification of key #Fitfor55 documents marks significant progress, directly impacting #districtheating and #cooling. Implementing Low Carbon Heat: Join the SIRACH network briefing The SIRACH network is hosting a half-day briefing at London’s iconic Shard to share the findings of the Lot-Net project. Electrification of industry has huge potential with more than 90% of industrial process heat electrifiable. But how can policy support rather than hinder it? Join our webinar by the WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) to learn about the various policy incentives available to support companies in decarbonising their industrial process heat. We will bring together policy makers, experts, and industry leaders to discuss the current policy landscape as well as learnings from implemented projects. There should be an event cycle around the electrification of industry with #heatpump solutions. Note down: If you require temperatures up to 200°C, you do not need molecules. A two stage heat pump will do the trick for you 1. first stage lifts the temperature from your waste heat level ... 50°C? to about 120°C and you get low pressure steam 2. second stage uses either an electric peak boiler or mechanical vapour recompression (#MVR) and off you go. REHVA supports actively #Heat #pump #standardization at #European Level! 👉 Heat pumps will play a major role for the #EU #energy #transition. European funding will support their rollout. The performance assessment of heat pumps should reflect the real impact on #energy #efficiency and #climate #change, be transparent, harmonized in order to create an EU level playing and to avoid the fragmentation of the EU heat pump #market. Having a common method, with reliable results, is in the interest of industrials, professionals, #building #owners and #consumers. 🏠 To be able to do the revision in short time, it was decided to establish a task group under the lead of #CENTC228 « #Heating #systems in #buildings » with Johann Zirngibl as convenor of CEN TC228/WG4. REHVA members Catalin LUNGU (REHVA president), Jarek Kurnitski (Chair of REHVA Technology and Research Committee TRC) and Jaap Hogeling (Editor in Chief #REHVAjournal) attended the meeting.
