The #Commission has approved State Aid of up to €6.9 billion for the #hydrogen #IPCEI “infrastructure wave” #Hy2Infra by France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Slovakia.   The 24 German projects included contribute to the implementation of the German #NWS (National Hydrogen Strategy).   #Hy2Infra covers the entire hydrogen value chain, from the production (more than 3.2 GW capacity) of green hydrogen, transport (more than 2,700 km of pipeline network), storage infrastructure (almost 370 GWh capacity), and handling terminals for Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (6,000 tonnes for #LOHC a year) to industrial use of hydrogen. https://lnkd.in/efcyNDb7

🌟 Exciting News! GD4S is pleased to join the Ready4H2 phase III project. Frédéric DYKMANS 🌱, Secretary General of Gas Distributors for Sustainability (GD4S), is proud to participate in the first meeting in Brussels and actively engage in this phase focusing on increased collaboration and transformation. 🔧 Gas distribution networks are flexible and adaptable: They can transport different gases from various production and storage sources to end users. Notably, our networks can transport biomethane without any infrastructure changes and up to 20% hydrogen when mixed with natural gas. Furthermore, they are ready to be converted or reallocated quickly and with limited investment to transport pure hydrogen. 💡 Ready4H2 unites European gas distribution companies and national organizations, working together to foster a hydrogen market and a unified European vision of future energy supply. H-TEC SYSTEMS and Bilfinger have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a collaboration aimed at jointly developing #green hydrogen projects in #Europe. The non-exclusive strategic partnership is centred on the development of large scale electrolysis projects. As global demand for green #hydrogen is expected to grow significantly in the coming years and decades, the partners see promising business potential in addressing this market.
